At undergraduate level the University offers programs like B.Tech, BBA, BCA and BPT. At postgraduate level the university offers various programs like M.Tech, MBA, MCA and MPT. UEM, Jaipur also offers a Ph.D. program in the disciplines of Engineering, Management and Humanities.

The university conducts its own entrance exam called IEMJEE to offer admission in different UG and PG courses.
Admission will be granted to a candidate strictly on the basis of merit followed by counseling.
A 10+2 pass is required to secure admission in UG programs

UEM, Jaipur Offers B.Tech, BCA, BBA, BPT and integrated programs in various specializations. A 10+2 pass is required for all the UG programs.

UEM, Jaipur M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc and MCA Admission 2023

UEM offers admission to M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Sc in various specializations along with the integrated programs.

All candidates seeking admission to the above courses should be a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline under 10+2+4 system (10+2+3 for MBA) with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

UEM, Jaipur Ph.D. Admission 2023

Candidates with PG Degree in a relevant subject can apply for the Ph.D course. Admission is offered on the basis of marks in IEM JEE marks followed by personal interview and thesis presentation.

UEM, Jaipur Application Process 2023

Application forms for different UG and PG courses are available on the official website of UEM. Students have to follow the given steps:

Visit the UEM official Website and click on Admission.
Click on IEMJEE Button.
After that Click on Apply Now.
Enter the personal and education details.
Choose date and slot for the examination.
Submit the application form.
Hall ticket will be sent to you on the registered email id.
Take the print out of Hall Ticket.
On Exam Date, Carry the Hall Ticket and a Valid Id Proof.

UEM offers various scholarships to the meritorious students for UG Programmes on the basis of their marks in 10+2 discussed below:

Note: These scholarships do not include Refundable security deposits or Boarding and Lodging cost.

The mentioned percentages are the only eligibility to apply for the scholarship. In absence of relevant mark sheets, direct admission and scholarship application will not be considered.

The scholarship is granted on a semester basis and continuation in second and further semesters of the program is subject to scholarship policy. To continue availing 100% scholarship, a student must secure position in top 5% of the merit list of the program. For continuation of 50% and 25% scholarship, a student will have to secure position in top 10% of the merit list of the subsequent semester.

Which is better, UEM Kolkata or UEM Jaipur?

UEM Jaipur is better. It has better infrastructure and facilities.

The on-campus facilities are excellent. UEM Jaipur has well-equipped departmental labs, and research labs (AR/VR, IoT). There are various workshops as well, i.e. Mechanical workshops, Electrical workshops, etc. These stay open even after college hours. Students are free to do their own projects and implement their ideas after class hours.
Students of UEM Jaipur have made robotic spiders, humanoid robots, fingerprint recognition models, all-terrain vehicles, electric bikes, and energy-efficient building models.
UEM Jaipur placements are excellent. According to the recent highlights, students receive an average CTC of INR 4.23 LPA.

UEM Jaipur organizes various events such as Sports Fest, Tech Fest, Cultural Fest, etc. where students contribute as a part of a dynamic peer group.

Both UEM Jaipur and IEM Kolkata have good placement records. Students belonging to all the branches and streams get assistance in getting placements in the top companies.

There have been a number of instances where students from both UEM Jaipur and IEM Kolkata have appeared in the placement process together but now the placement takes place in the individual campuses. Companies visit the campuses for offering lucrative packages to their students.

According to the recent placement highlights, the placement average for UEM Jaipur is around 97.39%.
The highest package offered by both UEM Jaipur and IEM Kolkata is INR 72 LPA and the average package is INR 4.23 LPA.
Students of IEM Kolkata often end up bagging placements in Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Dorma Kaba, HDFC, etc.

Overall, the placement opportunities offered at UEM Jaipur and Kolkata are quite good.

Which is better for B.Tech in CS: Neotia Institute of Engineering, Kolkata or University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata?

Both institutions are private colleges and there is not much difference between these two. They provide similar kinds of placement facilities. Some of my friends studying at both institutes pointed out that the overall performance of Neotia is better than UEM.

You should start learning coding from the first year itself in order to get good placements. The college will never teach you coding.
Neotia College is an old institution whereas UEM is a new one.
UEM will provide you better practical exposure whereas Neotia College is much better for CS stream.
As most of the IT companies visit the campus for placements, if you are good in technical skills then you will find a whole lot of opportunities here.
The faculties are good at Neotia College.
The college also has a lot of extracurricular activities groups which will help you in developing your skills.
