Sagar Institute of Research and Technology offers B.Tech program of 2-years duration with 8 specializations and total intake for 840.

Applicants who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board and have also qualified JEE Main are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech program.

Those candidates who have qualified JEE Mains are given admission on the basis of JEE Mains merit through DTE Counselling. However, those students who have not qualified/appeared in JEE Mains are admitted to the program on the basis of their merit in 10+2 through DTE, Counselling.

Key Points:-

SIRT also gives direct admission to the eligible candidates through College Level Counselling conducted by SIRT as per the instructions of DTE, MP.

Sagar Institute of Research and Technology M.Tech, MCA, and MBA Admission 2023

Admission to the M.Tech program is given on the basis of their valid GATE score and marks obtained in Post-Graduation Degree course. Selection of the candidates is done through DTE, Counselling. Whereas, admission to MCA is done through Pre-MCA test conducted by Vyapam. Candidates are admitted to MBA course through MET held by Vyapam or CMAT conducted by AICTE.

Those who hold BE, B.Tech or MCA Degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Tech program. Applicants with Bachelor’s Degree in any specialization and Mathematics in 10+2/ Graduation level are eligible for admission to the M.Tech program. Similarly, applicants with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline are considered eligible to get admission in MBA course.

SIRT, Indore Application Process

Candidates have to apply for DTE, Counselling conducted through MP Online to get admission in any UG and PG courses offered by SIRT. Visit the website of DTE, MP Online and do the online registration for counselling to participate in it and lock your choices.

Visit the website of DTE, MP i.e. https://dte.mponline.gov.in/portal/services/onlinecounselling/counshomepage/home.aspx
Click on “Online Counselling registration” link
Select your course and click “counselling” link.
Enter the necessary details and complete the registration.
Upload the asked documents for verification
Fill up your choices and lock it.
On successful allotment of seat visit the reporting center to complete the admission formalities.

Pay the counselling registration fee through DD or Net Banking whichever method is suitable.

Admission can be directly through your 12th percentage or through JEE main exam. Even if you couldn't clear the JEE main exam. You can still get admission if you have 60% in your 12th class board exam.

Remarks:

I was in Lucknow when I gave my JEE entrance exam, and after a few weeks I was supposed to get transferred to Bhopal with my Family, so I started searching for Engineering colleges in Bhopal, I found that according to my JEE percentile, I can get Computer Science branch in SIRT Bhopal, here the placement Cell is also good as I talked to my seniors so they also told me about it, afterward I cam here to visit the campus, it was nice, It has nearly 2 Auditorium, Sports Complex, and 2 Large sized Grounds, it feels fresh as someone enters the premises as Positive Vibes is so important for us.

SIRT is different it's not like an ordinary private college. The content delivered is at the next level. Here you get a friendly and competitive environment. Faculty focus on practical knowledge. The most important thing about SIRT is that it is NBA certified which means a lot. There are two ways to be a part of SIRT if you want you can go for JEE main exam or you can directly apply for the course you are interested in. For B.Tech you must be having science background.

I was in Jharkhand(HomeTown) when I gave my JEE entrance exam, and after a few weeks I was supposed to get transferred to Bhopal, so I started searching for Engineering colleges in Bhopal, I found that according to my JEE percentile, and after giving the Entrance exam, I filled MPDTE counselling online form, we might get charged Rs 1000-1500. After this, I filled out my College choices. Afterwards, I got to know that, I can get Computer Science branch in SIRT Bhopal, here the placement Cell is also good as I talked to my seniors and they also told me about it, afterwards I came here to visit the campus, it was nice, It has nearly 2 Auditorium, Sports Complex, and 2 Large sized Grounds, it feels fresh as someone enters the premises as Positive Vibes is so important for us.

My friend was from the 2012-16 batch and he didn’t have a good experience at the institute. Here is what he had to say about the institute. Faculty: SIRT Bhopal is indeed a good college that comes along with an even better faculty who are experienced and helpful towards their students. The number of such great faculty members is few in number. Infrastructure: The labs are inefficient and there. The "Central Library" they claim to have and boast about has books that are torn. Otherwise, there are decent facilities like a good auditorium, big classes. Placements: They claim to give 100% placement, but you will be disappointed eventually. TCS is the only essential MNC to show up and leave with a maximum number of 10 students. Once they have left, all you are left around with are companies that do not offer a satisfactory package. Average CTC 3.8 LPA Highest CTC 10 LPA Major recruiters IBM, Jaro Education, Hexaware Placement average 80% But if we talk about the management system, it still has a lot to work on.

Having friends in both institutions, I can say that, to decide on a college and to pursue a particular college and course in life, you need to have a proper understanding of your needs and wants. To understand this, answer these three questions: Need to pursue the Engineering Engineering is a 4-year degree course. Investing 4 years in a particular domain is a commitment. And so is sticking with it. Pursuing another thing after engineering doesn't make any sense, then it would be a waste of 4 years. So, first, decide whether engineering is the right choice for you or not. Jobs If the job is the future, opt for any one of them. These colleges have a good name and placements. They also welcome many reputed companies for their on-campus placement. Oriental is better in terms of placement and infrastructure. It is one of the oldest colleges and has been completed for 21 years. They also conduct many cultural and technical events. So opt for oriental. Higher Studies If higher studies are your goal, then you should not go to any of these colleges as they need 75% attendance. SIRT Bhopal is one of the top three reputed and renowned Engineering institutions in India. It is known for its quality education. However, on the other side, it is still a private college. The college provides all the basic facilities. One of my friends studied here, and according to him, the placements are not up to the mark. It provides basic packages and sometimes no placement. The highest package and average package offered is not much appreciable. Highest CTC offered INR 10 LPA Average CTC offered INR 3.8 LPA Top recruiters Byju’s, Topper Learning, ARXXUS, IBM, Hexaware, Infosys, Jaro Education A student from the CS branch received funding of INR 25 lacs for start-up from the government.
