Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science and engineering is a booming course so I choose that course. For every 30 students their 1 teacher and for some subjects, there is no certain ratio. So many teachers are M tech and some of them are Ph.D. There will Mid exams every 1 month.

However, in general, the timing of term exams is usually determined by the institution and is usually specified in their academic calendar or course syllabus. The difficulty of passing exams can also vary depending on a variety of factors such as the subject matter, the level of the course, and the individual student's preparation and understanding of the material. It's also important to note that exam difficulty can vary from year to year based on factors such as the exam content and the level of competition

Ques
Which college is better, New Horizon College of Engineering or Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM)?

● Top Answer By Aarti Bora on 15 May 21

Ans
I know a few people from both New Horizon College and DSATM. So I will try to give you an idea about them based on what I heard from my friends at the institutes.  New Horizon College of Engineering: One of my friends was part of the ECE branch at New Horizon. She had a great time at the institute. The faculty, lab attendants are quite supportive. They have working faculties even on Sunday. So, if you missed any classes during the week you can catch up on that. You will have ample freedom at the lab. The labs are well-equipped with the latest instruments and computers. Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management: Comparably DSATM doesn’t offer such facilities. A friend of mine had to do her final projects using external resources, as the computers provided by the institute didn’t have the minimum requirements. Her project guides and her professors were not that supportive either. But in terms of placements, DSR does offer better facilities.  Here’s a brief comparison of both of these institutes. Parameters New Horizon College of Engineering DSATM Average CTC 5 LPA 4 LPA Highest CTC 20 LPA 25 LPA Hope this gives you an idea about the institutes.

Ques
How is New Horizon College of Engineering in CSE placements?

● Top Answer By Rashi Pratap on 01 Jun 21

Ans
One of my friends suggested that CSE placements in this college are much better than other branches. Other branches like ECE and EEE struggle a lot to get good companies which CSE students get at one go.  The campus drive is conducted one year after passing out from the college. Many cores, noncore and BPO companies come here for placements. Good packages are offered to the students. Some of the companies also have a bond of 2 to 3 years. The placement report of the batch of 2020 is as follows: Students registered for placements 852 Highest CTC offered INR 20.14 LPA. Lowest CTC offered INR 3.5 LPA. Median CTC offered INR 6 LPA PPO offered 767 Highest stipend offered INR 70,000 per month. It is suggested that you should work more on your coding skills and other technical skills to get good placements.

Ques
Which one should I choose, Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering ISE or New Horizon College of engineering CSE?

● Top Answer By Avik Samanta on 10 Sept 21

Ans
According to the 2021 WBJEE cutoff, the required cutoff for CSE at Heritage Institute of Technology is 3434 (general). So, it will be difficult to get admission in CSE with your rank. As an alternative, you can go for IT at Heritage. It offers similar career prospects as the CSE branch.  With 4.5k rank, you can also try for KGEC EE/JGEC CSE/GCECT CSE/GCELT CSE/IEM IT/ GCETTS CSE. At this rank in case, if you are getting a Govt. college don’t go for it as there is a very low chance of placements.

Ques
Among Reva University and New Horizon College of Engineering which is the best for CSE?

● Top Answer By Ritika Bhardwaj, on 03 Nov 21

Ans
Both these institutes are well-known for their world-class education and state-of-the-art facilities. But as I am a bit familiar with REVA University, let me discuss it. REVA University School of Computing and Information Technology offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science Engineering.  These programs deepen your knowledge in computer science through innovative pedagogy and experiential learning.  The B.Tech in CSE program provides an in-depth knowledge of various computer science disciplines.  Students are encouraged by the faculty to engage in state-of-the-art seminars, lab activities, talks, industrial visits, and research groups.  The faculty of REVA University is education and industry experts.  Thus, studying CSE from REVA University opens a lot of opportunities for the students. The reputed MNCs recruit students from this department offering them salary packages ranging from 8 to 10 LPA.
