MPSTME also boasts of a good faculty that is committed to imparting quality education. The academic curriculum is on par with other top-tier engineering colleges in the country. Additionally, the college has a diverse student body that allows students to interact with peers from different backgrounds and cultures. The university management system (UMS) is also efficient, making it easy for students to access information related to academics and other activities. Cons of MPSTME: One of the downsides of MPSTME is that the campus can be crowded, especially during peak hours. The college also has a strict attendance policy, with students required to maintain at least 75% attendance. Another disadvantage is that the Wi-Fi speed can be slow at times, which can hinder students' academic work. MPSTME is an excellent choice for students who want to gain exposure and grow in a diverse and dynamic city like Mumbai. However, it's important to weigh the pros and cons carefully before making a decision. In MBA Tech course students get to study B.Tech and MBA. overall it is a good course. NMIMS started offering this course to meet the growing demand for techno-managers in the industry. The program is tailormade by industry experts and academicians to meet the industry requirements. MPSTME Mumbai MBA Tech placements are good. The average CTC for the course is around INR 7.95 LPA. The highest CTC goes up to INR 21.4 LPA. PwC, KPMG, IBM, Infosys, EY, etc. are among the major recruiters.  

Usually, students ranking in the top 300, get CSE, or IT at MPSTME, NMIMS. But this is just a tentative score. There is no such specific cutoff system. NMIMS Cutoff varies each year depending on the availability of seats.  So, try to score a good rank, to be safe. Since most students choose CSE or IT, the required cutoff remains high.

MBA Tech is an integrated program that aims to produce Techno-Managers. There will be Technical Industrial Training of 8 weeks and Management Industrial Training of 20 weeks. Think twice before spending your money while taking admission in NMIMS MPSTME because the cost is high.

NMIMS MBA Tech is a good program, especially for those who want to pursue MBA after their B.Tech. A graduate of MBA Tech gets two degrees - BTech and MBA in 5 years. You also don’t have to prepare for MBA entrance examinations.  NMIMS is a well-known name in the management sector. You will get a good exposure. NMIMS placement highlights of recent years show the average CTC offered for MBA Tech is around INR 7.50 LPA. While the highest CTC offered is INR 21.4 LPA. 

According to the ex-students of NMIMS, the fee structure of BTech would change every year. The total fee mainly ranges between 12.88-14.4 lakh. Moreover, the facilities provided at the hostel are not much good as per the charges. So it is better to look for a PG or take a room rather than staying at a college hostel.  The facilities provided are very good. The faculty and academic environment are decent. The placements are also very nice, as many students get placed in core companies like Idea Cellular, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and many other IT companies.

The MBA Tech. program is specially designed to meet this growing need. It is an integrated course that comprises B.Tech and MBA. It is to be completed in a tenure of 5 years (3+2 years).  The engineering degree is to be completed in 3 years with 15+ subjects each semester and MBA will be completed in 2 years.  All programs of MPSTME are approved by the AICTE.  The faculty for management is the same as the core students of NMIMS.  The student will receive 2 degrees at the end of 5 years:- B.Techfrom NMIMS University. MBA in Technology specialized in the particular subject you choose in your 4th year for Management Studies.  The integrated degree has more potential than a general degree acquired at any of the rival colleges Like Manipal, VIT, SRM, etc. The tag of NMIMS is also an added advantage. This degree will always have an upper hand over the normal B.Tech degree.

It entirely depends on the vacancy. There is no such cutoff system. If you can secure a good rank, i.e. within the top 300, then you can go for the CSE branch. Otherwise, it entirely depends on the vacancy. If you get a rank of around 1500-3000, and you want  IT or CE, chances of getting admission are low, as most students choose these courses. However, in the counseling, they give a form in which you can fill out your choice of branch and if there are any vacancies later, you can upgrade your branch. 

One of my friends studied at NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management (MPSTME). According to him, there are some things you have to know before enrolling: MPSTME has a very rigorous curriculum. The classes are conducted 6 days a week, for about 6 hours a day. You will have to maintain a 80% attendance to be able to sit for the examinations. 100% attendance is required for tutorial and lab sessions. 2 assignments per subject is given to the students every academic year. The teachers conduct regular viva sessions also. Students are also required to opt for co-curricular activities as well.  There are clubs and committees like Cultural, Technical, Social, Sports, Social Impact, Colloquium, etc. which they can be a part of. Therefore, the overall atmosphere is very competitive. If you are studious enough you will be able to manage otherwise you will lag behind.

I know about the campus life at MIT as my sister goes there. The following points are based on her experience at the campus: MIT has a good student crowd. Most students are well-spoken and have good dressing skills.  The students speak English well as they are of different states and English is the only medium for them to communicate with each other.  Everyone on the campus is fun-loving and there is a good environment on the campus. The campus is not at all boring.  You will have clubs, movies, sports, restaurants, parties, etc. to enjoy your college life there.  You will definitely have an exciting college life on the campus of MIT in both academic and non-academic terms.
