The seats are divided into 3 categories:

  • Category-A Seats: 70% of the total intake is earmarked for this category. These seats are filled by The Convenor, EAMCET Admisssions as per the rank secured by the students in Entrance Examinations. To be admitted in this category , the candidate should have passed the qualifying exam (10+2) or its equivalent
  • Category-B Seats: 30% of the Intake is earmarked for this category. These seats are filled at the College level as per the guidelines issued by the State Government
  • Lateral Entry Seats: 20% of the total intake is earmarked for Direct admission into B.Tech II year under Lateral entry. These seats are filled by the Convenor , ECET Admisssions as per the rank secured by the students in Entrance Examinations
