Kamala Institute of Technology & Science offers  (B.Tech) degree under five specializations with 4 years of duration. The total number of seats allocated for all the B.Tech programs is 540 (annual).

The admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Telangana State Common Entrance exam TS EAMCET.

The college also provides admission in the Second year of the B.Tech program with the total intake capacity of 108 seats. Students, who have Diploma in relevant discipline can apply for B.Tech (Lateral Entry). However, a Common Entrance Test Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) will be conducted by JNT University Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

Key points:

• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the EAMCET.
• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/ NRI candidates.

Kamala Institute of Technology & Science offers M.Tech degree program at the postgraduate level with 2 years of duration. The total annual intake of 72 seats. The intake capacity for each of the specializations is 18 seats.

Candidates willing to take admission in the M.Tech program, must hold a well-recognized Bachelor’s degree in the relevant branch of engineering and secure minimum required marks.

Eligible candidates have to appear in Telangana State Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (TS PGCET). TS PGCET is a State Level Common Entrance Test for Admission into Regular PG Courses within Telangana State. The exam is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Candidates with a valid GATE score, are eligible for this program.
