Government Engineering College, Barton Hill (GECBH) was established in 1999 by the Government of Kerala. It is committed to impart quality education & training leading to various professional degrees and aims to be a global Institution through continual improvement. It was established on the land donated by His Highness Sri.Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the last ruling Maharaja of the princely State of Travancore. It is situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city at a walking distance from PMG junction. It offers under graduate and post graduate Engineering courses.
