College for Delhi students with low Rank (Decent ROI)

What I Liked

As the strength of the class is low, teachers give personal attention to everyone. Also, it is easy to make personal contact with every teacher, thus teachers also provide emotional support when needed
The college is situated in good area surrounded by different colleges like IIT , IIIT, DTU , NSUT and students are allowed to participate in events of these colleges with college ID card, thus it provides decent exposure.

What I didn’t like

The course content is not at par with industry standards and it requires to be upgraded to match the requirements of the modern industries
The infrastructure is also not that good and requires proper maintenance and is not at par with other private institutes
Research culture is not promoted in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not at par with the current modern industry standards and requires modification. I think new courses should be introduced focussed more on practical learning and less on theoretical knowledge. Moreover, in the present practical subjects also the practicals are those which have no use when applying for ny internship or company interview, So i think the practicals should be changed in that way, so that we are able to do well in our interviews and the chances of on campus selection increase. This problem is not particularly with my college but i think all the colleges in India need to do so.

Remarks:

I also applied for other college like JUIT Solan, but it was far away from my house and the fees was laos high so i choose GTBIT as it was nearby my home in Delhi and my JEE rank was also low and moreover the return on investment in this college was also good as the fee for 4 year would be approx. 6 lakhs and the avg placement is also 7 lpa. Hence, I took it. Moreover, I was also offered ECE and IT in COMEDK colleges in bangalore as my rank was 900 but I did not go for it as again Bangalore was far away and the college were not that good. I would suggest the college is good for those living in Delhi , have low JEE Rank and want a decent ROI college. Moreover, the college is only 5 days a week. Hence, you can also prepare for GRE, GMAT , GATE , SSS, RBJEE etc easily.

A bundle of truths and facts

What I Liked

The college has modern labs and other facilities
Location is in the city centre close to bus and metro station surrounded by restaurants and malls
Faculty : the teachers are well versed and highly qualified in their subjects

What I didn’t like

There will be less facilities for sports
There will be less opportunities for internship and all
There will be no ground for any sport and campus area is very less

Placement Experience:

Onward 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements and there will be big companies that visit our college such as Wipro Accenture genpact Infosys and the avg package will be 5 lakhs approx 90% students gets placed

Remarks:

First of all you have apply for jee exam then afterward you have to apply for ipu counselling that held between mid June and July you have to find everything like application form application fees dates etc from website or you have to visit college once there will be no benifits for sc/st students

What I Liked

It is situated in the middle ofdelhi and has many markets and malls nearby
There is not a big issue of attendance after first year

It's campus is very small literally. Even my school had larger ground than its

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year's content is completely irrelevant to computer science and from second year onwards you will start learning computer subjects The teaching should be done with new techniques and not just that old classroom kind teaching
