The admission process is overall smooth and all the staff are helpful. You must have all the required documents available along with you. There is a separate panel of staff members for the admission process and you have been allotted to a specific staff member who will make sure to complete all of our admission processes. The eligibility for course admission is based on JEE marks and some of the private admission quotas is also reserved for college in which also 12th marks and JEE marks is considered. The application form is taken by JEE Mains and UPSEE in combination and the results of JEE mains were taken.

Overall ABES EC is an average engineering college at best. Here are some of the pros and cons of joining the institutes.
Pros:
It has great infrastructural facilities. There is centralized AC for all blocks in the whole college. The lush green campus will soothe your eyes.
The hostel accommodation is well furnished and maintained regularly.
There are many food courts that sell good quality food at reasonable prices.
The campus has a big stadium that conducts different cricket matches.
Some of the faculty members are cooperative and student-friendly.
The ABES EC placement scenario is decent. The average CTC offered to students is around INR 6 LPA.
There are many clubs like Samvaad Theatre Group, Technovation, etc. in which you can take part.
Cons:
ABES EC has a strict 75% attendance rule. Failing to maintain this can lead to detention.
The institute calls parents if you don’t attend your class.
The hostel curfew timing for girls is strict. You need to be inside the hostel premises at 6 pm during winter and 6:30 pm during summer.
Overall, your time at ABES EC will be a bitter-sweet one.

For the year 2018-19, there was a total of 847 job offers made to B.Tech students of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. Apart from these, there are some really good things to look forward to on the campus –

Admissions
Students need 45% marks in 10+2 for a CSE program at ABES Engineering College
60% for AKG Engineering College. Students will additionally have to qualify for the UPSEE /JEE exam.
Infrastructure and Facilities
AKG Engineering College:
It has 9 Centres of Excellence including the FAB Lab by Prof. Neil Gershenfeld of MIT and the AKGEC-BOSCH Rexroth Centre of Competence in Automation Technologies which is in collaboration with Bosch Rexroth AG, Germany.
It also has 8 departmental libraries, and 5 hostel libraries in its 6 on-campus hostels.
ABES Engineering College:
It is associated with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and also has a host of student welfare facilities like Student Counseling Cell; Value Education Cell and Anti Ragging Cell.
The college has its Tedx platform as well.
Faculty
AKG Engineering College has 30 faculty members for the IT department.
ABES Engineering College has 28 faculty members in its CSE department.
Placements
In the academic year 2018-19, more than 850 students were placed at AKG with Wipro, NIIT, Samsung, and Tech Mahindra among others. The average package offered was INR 4-8 LPA.
At ABES Engineering College, 209 students got placed with companies like TCS, Byjus, Wipro, and Capgemini. The highest package offered was 10 LPA.
