I gave JEE exam for the entrance then appeared in AKTU counseling as my rank wasn't good enough for any tier 2 college had to come here. As I cleared the cutoff for several colleges CSE/CS/AIML/Data science branches I took my decision to complete my engineering from here. The councelling process is easy but aftermath in college is a headache AKTU is such a nonsense university. One doesn't need much effort to clear the entrance cut off of ABESEC which with reservation becomes much easier.
As of my course that is Computer science is almost same as Computer science core as both course run as same group while AIML data science follow the alternate group. Course has outdated syllabus which is again not colleges fault it's the university which declines to change. The course needs to approach the coding area more from the first year only. The exams in the course are very frequent a student hardly gets to breath before they have to give internal assessment every month and test in mid too. The assignmentd project are too hectic and brain rotting as they are totally hoax and doesn't improve one nevertheless as they all copy each other's anyways.
College doesn't provide much opportunities for internships honestly still many students get there way through by working on their Own but the college doesn't really provide any opportunity for internships. But student have worked on themselves and some of them did it so well that they are in now Google Linux foundations and many more huge companies.
The placement of the college are pretty decent comparing to other AKTU colleges as GL Bajaj fakes there placement ABES doesn't the reality is if have put enough efforts in first 2 years you can get the placement in the 3rd year itself. Students are eligible to sit in placement from 6-7th semester. As the placement of this session has started as of now several companies have visited the campus like TCS ACCENTURE AGGAO etc and have placed number of students even in harsh recession condition. Highest package offered last year was 50 LPA i don't know if that was on campus or off campus but that's what college has put in their site. Average package is of 7.4 LPA. Branches like CSE CS has 100% placement which is surprisingly too good. I hope to get placed into a decent company for the starting not putting my hopes too high 7-8 LPA would be a perfect start nevertheless.
As of the first year the submission of fees started from AKTU Where after the procedure of councelling the fees of the college and hostel has to be payed together on the day of physical counselling of college with document verification and all, the fee for first year was 123000/- for the Tution fee/College fee and 119000 for Hostel 4 seater AC room.
The college life isn't much of life here , if you don't have a nice friend group or hostel mates it would hard to cut off months here. The annual fest names genero which is genrally held in August- September wasn't held here they instead put the TEDx here which had 12 speakers performing but still it's nowhere near the fun of the annual function right? The accessibility of library is very easy and functional but library are simply mostly used for studying the academics here. The class room's are full Ac's which sometimes doesn't work and you get cooked with the strength of 60-70 students. For sportsy students the college is perfect gives you numerous sports event and opportunities to show yourself. As for clubs and social group there are several clubs for dance, acting ,singing, photography, drama , literature etc in which student can indulge from 2nd year onwards.
Hostel have both AC and Non AC rooms 1st year have options for 4 seater AC/4 seater non AC/2 seater non AC/5 seater flat type accommodation (attached bathroom) in the hostel with 2 blocks assigned for 1st year the Mess is pretty good but with time you get tired of it and in the end your Saviour "THE NIGHT CANTEEN" of the hostel is one of the best thing in this college which opens at 6 PM TO 4 AM and helps you cut the nights during harsh mess days and exam nights with one of the best option the "ALOO PARANTHA". the registration process is simple but you have to go through long queues on the day of registration the affordablity I would say is bad as they are bit too expensive regardless of AC and non AC for 4 seater starting from 115000.
All the faculty is highly qualified with almost every teacher having the minimum experience of 15 years most of the teachers are PHD holders and have done there course from big institute like IIT IIM and etc. the number of faculty is insanely good you are never lacking teachers. The approach of some teachers is good while others lack intrest in teaching. Interaction with teachers is very easy every teacher is very approachable even normal days or even in exams days very helpful.

The placements in the current time are not good as the college was closed for an year but yes companies do visit the campus and recently a job fair was also held in the college in which many students got placed. companies like TCS, Cisco, Paytm, ShadowFax, Cognizant and even Amazon do visit the campus but placement ratio isn't very good. After degree I will look for off campus placements along with the campus placements expanding my job chances.
placements perentage is good. from 7th semsester that is the 4rth year students are eligible for on campus placements companies like tcs, paytm, amazon have visited our college. highest package was of 20 lakh per annum and avg was 6 lakh per anum 75% maybe ill study further for a mtech degree or maybe ill just stay with btech one]
Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus selection. Amazon , Cabgimini and Accenture are some of the large recruiters they recruits students with good package. Highest package is 55LPA . Average package is about 450000LPA. Almost 70-75% of students getting placed. My plan after taking degree is to develop a gaming application.
When I pursued the course, I was very scared as to how it would happen and what would happen, but our star faculty made everything possible and completely eliminated my fear of B.Tech.And also prepare for the exams so that we do not face any problems in future, always do your best for us
There is a good placement in this college. There are many companies arriving in the campuse for the placement of students. I am student of bachelor of technology ( computer science engineering) so I knew about it only the placement start from 3rd year in this college. The percentage of getting placement is 60% of the total students.
Students as I asked from my seniors it was after 5 th semester they were eligible to sit in placement rounds but your image should be good and no bad record like low attendance and all. Companies like TCS, WIPRO and FLIPKART visit us for campus placement and students can apply for off campus placement average was 7.5? lkh this year last year it was 8 lkh per annum and 75 % students were placed this year .
There are on campus placements provided by our college the average package in our college is around 6 lakhs per annum and median package is around 4.5 lakhs per annum... However the large amount of packages shown in advertisement are of off campus placements...
The courses offered on our campus are computer science and engineering and its specifications, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. the curriculum in these courses is not much industrial-oriented due to the very old syllabus of aktu.
