Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research Admission starts in the month of July every year. IPGMER is a National Research Institute located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The institute offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral programs including super speciality programs in various disciplines of Medical Sciences.

Admission to the MBBS program will be done through the NEET-UG followed by counselling.
IPGMER offers limited seats i.e., 150 seats for admissions into their MBBS program every year.
Admissions to the BPT and B.Sc.(Nursing) programs are done on the basis of merit in JENPAS UG.
For admission to the M.Sc (Nursing) course, candidates need to appear in WBPGNAT.
