Indian Institute of Pulses Research (IIPR) was founded in the year 1966 and the institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

IIPR Kanpur offers 10 days duration short-term course on Enhancing Nutrient Use Efficiency through Next Generation Fertilizers in Field Crops with a total number of 25 seats. The institute also offers Sponsored summer course on Novel Genomic Tools and Modern Breeding Approaches for Enhancing Productivity and Nutritional Quality of Pulse Crops.

For Summer course, Applicants who have completed M.Sc. or hold Ph.D. degree in relevant specializations or have previously worked as a Scientist, Professor or a Reader in ICAR/ SAU/ Central Agricultural University are considered eligible.
For Short-term course, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a related branch of Agriculture and Allied Science.
Also, a candidate must be working in a position, not below the rank of Scientist/ Assistant Professor/ equivalent from ICAR institute or State Agril.
Admission to the program is given on the basis of the applicant’s qualification and eligibility.

Indian Institute of Pulses Research offers a short-term course on Enhancing Nutrient Use Efficiency through Next Generation Fertilizers in Field Crops of 10 days duration and with the capacity of 25 eligible candidates. Also, the institute offers Sponsored Summer course on Novel Genomic Tools and Modern Breeding Approaches for Enhancing Productivity and Nutritional Quality of Pulse Crops.

For Summer-course, Candidates who have completed Post-Graduation (M.Sc.) or hold Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Genetic Resources/ Physiology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Pathology/ Entomology or have worked as a Professor (as Assistant, Associate), Scientist or a Reader in any ICAR Institute/ SAU/ Central Agricultural University are considered eligible to apply. For short-term course, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a related branch of Agriculture and Allied Science. Also, candidate must be working in a position, not below the rank of Scientist/ Assistant Professor/ equivalent from ICAR institute or State Agril.

Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of applicant’s eligibility and qualification.

For Summer Course:

Visit the official website through this link and apply online, http//proj.iasri.res.in/cbp/homepage.aspx
Pay the application fees of INR 50 via DD or Indian Postal Order in favour of ICAR Unit, IIPR, Kanpur payable at Kanpur.
The approved application must be printed and approved by their controlling authority.
The approved application form should be scanned and uploaded on the website of CBP portal.
Hard copy of the application form along with the registration fee must be submitted to the Course Director/ Course Coordinator.

For Short term Course:

Visit the website – http://www.iasri.res.in/cbp/ or click on ‘Capacity Building Program’ link at the official website of ICAR.
Login using User Id and Password. To create User Id, use ‘create new account’ link.
After login, click on ‘Participate in Training’ link and fill the proforma.
