Indian Institute of Pulses Research (IIPR) was founded in the year 1966 and the institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
IIPR Kanpur offers 10 days duration short-term course on Enhancing Nutrient Use Efficiency through Next Generation Fertilizers in Field Crops with a total number of 25 seats. The institute also offers Sponsored summer course on Novel Genomic Tools and Modern Breeding Approaches for Enhancing Productivity and Nutritional Quality of Pulse Crops.
- For Summer course, Applicants who have completed M.Sc. or hold Ph.D. degree in relevant specializations or have previously worked as a Scientist, Professor or a Reader in ICAR/ SAU/ Central Agricultural University are considered eligible.
- For Short-term course, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a related branch of Agriculture and Allied Science.
- Also, a candidate must be working in a position, not below the rank of Scientist/ Assistant Professor/ equivalent from ICAR institute or State Agril.
- Admission to the program is given on the basis of the applicant’s qualification and eligibility.
