Students who wish to take admission in IASRI can follow the following steps for admission:
- The official notice for application form will be released in the newspaper or on the official website in March.
- The candidates should fill this form through online mode only with required documents.
- The payments for the application form should also be filled through online mode only.
- The candidates can apply for admission to one discipline only.
- The candidates can choose the Examination Centre on their Own.
- After the application is proceed, the candidates will be provided with their Admit Card online.
- The candidate then can appear for their offline mode Examination.
- The results are declared on their website.
Admission for Foreign Students:
- Candidates should forward their application through their respective Embassies/Mission at New Delhi or through the respective Indian Mission abroad to the Government of India/ Secretary, DARE, New Delhi.
- Candidates shall be considered only if they are sponsored by the Government of India/ DARE/ICAR.
- Admissions of such Candidates shall be made on the scrutiny of the bio-data and on the recommendation of the Professor of the concerned discipline.
Eligibility requirements for M.Sc. (Agricultural Statistics):
Applicants should have Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Agroforestry/ Sericulture / Agricultural Marketing/ B.Sc.(10+2+3 System) with 60% marks or its equivalent Overall grade point average (OGPA) for general category, and 55% marks or its equivalent OGPA for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Age Limit:
The minimum age limits for admission to M.Sc. is 19 years. The age shall be reckoned as on 31st July of the year of admission.
The college offers a full time two year course of M.Sc in three specializations. The minimum age of candidate should be 19 years.

IASRI M.Sc Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+1+4 in their Bachelor’s Degree Program in the required field of Agriculture.
- Candidates should have obtained at least 60% marks for General Category and minimum 55% marks for SC/ST category in their Bachelor’s Program Degree.
- Candidates should appear for the Entrance Exam of ICAR for this Course.
IASRI M.Sc Selection Criteria
- The selection to M.Sc. programme is based on the marks scored in the All India Combined Competitive Examination conducted by the Education Division (ICAR).
- ICAR releases the merit list and finalizes the admission.
Selection of Candidates
- Academic attainments- The Weightage for academic attainments is 10%.
- Entrance Examination- the Weightage for Entrance Examination is 80% with required Eligibilities.
- Interview-The weightage for interview is 10%. Candidates qualifying Entrance Exam will be called for Examination in 1:4 ratios.
