IASRI Admission 2024
IASRI Admission 2024 is open. Admissions at IASRI will be based on ICAR JRF and CUET PG entrance exams for PhD and M.Sc. respectively. Interested candidates can visit the official website for more admission-related information
Students who wish to take admission to IASRI can follow the following steps for admission:
- The official notice for the application form will be released in the newspaper or on the official website.
- The candidates should fill this form through online mode only with the required documents.
- The payments for the application form should also be filled through online mode only.
- The candidates can apply for admission to one discipline only.
- The candidates can choose the Examination Centre on their own.
- After the application is processed, the candidates will be provided with their Admit Card online.
- The candidate then can appear for their offline mode Examination.
- The results are declared on their website.
Admission for Foreign Students:
- Candidates should forward their application through their respective Embassies/Mission at New Delhi or through the respective Indian Mission abroad to the Government of India/ Secretary, DARE, New Delhi.
- Candidates shall be considered only if they are sponsored by the Government of India/ DARE/ICAR.
- Admissions of such Candidates shall be made on the scrutiny of the bio-data and on the recommendation of the Professor of the concerned discipline.
Note: The entrance exam weightage for the selection process is 80% whereas 10% weightage is given to the interview process and 10% weightage is given to the academic attainments.
IASRI Scholarships
ICAR-Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI) offers government scholarships are provided to the economically weaker students by the institute. ICAR has raised the scholarship amount for students seeking admission into M.Sc. and Ph.D. courses-
- For the M.Sc course, the fellowship amount has been raised from INR 25,000 per month for 1st and 2nd year and INR 28,000 per month for 3rd year to INR 31,000 per month for 1st and 2nd year & INR35,000 per month for 3rd year.
- For Ph.D. course, the fellowship amount has been raised from INR 38,000 per month + HRA (for Master Degree holders) & INR 40,000per month + HRA (for Ph.D) to INR 49,000 per month + HRA (for Master’s Degree holders) & INR 54,000 per month + HRA (for Ph.D).
IASRI Facilities
The institute provides a wide variety of facilities such as:
- Auditorium: Dr. Daroga Singh Auditorium is the most esteemed hall which embraces the favorable environment and infrastructure with a holistic approach. Approximately 118 people can be accommodated in the auditorium at once. It has modern seating arrangements and cutting-edge audiovisual equipment. It has fantastic interiors with ample lighting and is completely air-conditioned. It is separated into the main arena and the balcony.
- Hostel: ICAR-IASRI has three Hostels, International Training Hostel and Panse Hostel situated in the campus. The Panse Hostel has 6 rooms and the International Training Hostel has 12 rooms on double occupancy. The Rooms of both Hostels are equipped with features like Complimentary WI-Fi, Cable Television, Air- Conditions/Cooler, etc.
- Library: The institute consists of an amazing library resource base in the field of Agricultural Statistics, Computer Applications to support teaching and research.
