Eligibility of Political Science honours was 55% aggregate in 10+2 but now it's one should qualify the Common University Entrance Test and then according to the merit and cut off the college would be alloted. Remarks:

Admission was based on merit scores. There was no entrance for the course (BSc physical science) and was completely based on merit scores. The cut-off list came out and the students had to apply for the college. If the student were eligible for a particular college in the first cutoff and hadn't applied in that cutoff, he/she won't be eligible to apply for that particular college in the coming cutoffs. The application form was available on the official du website. After the details submitted by the student are checked by the college, he/she became eligible to pay the fees in the same portal where he/she had applied. It was all an online-based process. In several colleges, women got -1% of negotiation cutoffs. The student was eligible to change the college or course in the next cutoffs.

The cut-off is really high for the general category, I got admission to the third list. You just have to go to college with your documents they will cross-check the documents and other certificates that we receive from school after the 12th and then they will give you one day time to pay the fees for the course. The examination fee was 1300 per year.

Which college is better: JMC or Maitry?

● Top Answer By Sriparna Roy on 29 Oct 21

Ans
JMC and Maitreyi, are reputed neighboring colleges with their own advantages. It will be better for you depends on the course you are applying for. For Arts courses, JMC is better. Whereas, for Science courses, Maitreyi is the better choice. I have friends from both colleges and here are their insights about the colleges.  Maitreyi: The faculties of the college are great. It organizes many extracurricular activities. There are sports facilities for basketball, volleyball, football, etc. It doesn’t have an auditorium and functions are held under a tent. JMC: JMC has better infrastructural facilities. The classrooms are bigger. There is an air-conditioned auditorium.  It also organizes many extracurricular activities. The canteen is well-maintained and there is availability of variety of foods.  Both Maitreyi and JMC are well-reputed and have decent facilities. So, choose an institute according to your subject preference.
