You should give preference to PGDAV or Motilal Nehru. These two colleges belong to the same tier and offer good academics and placements. PGDAV College placements are above average. For the 2020-21 session, more than 150 recruiters visited the campus placement. The highest CTC offered to students was INR 19.50 LPA. If you are a sports enthusiast, you should prefer PGDAV, it has excellent sports facilities. 

Matilal has a decent placement record. Students with good academics get job offers through campus placements. The highest CTC offered to the students ranges between INR 10-12 LPA. 

If you are trying to decide between Dyal Singh College and Deshbandhu College, there are a few things to consider before making your final decision. Here are some points to keep in mind:

• Location and Connectivity: Dyal Singh College is located in a more central area of Delhi and is well-connected by public transport. On the other hand, Deshbandhu College is located in a relatively more remote area of Kalkaji, which may not be as convenient for students.
• Academics: Dyal Singh College and Deshbandhu College are highly regarded for their academic programs. However, Dyal Singh College has a more diverse range of courses and programs, including a highly reputed Honours program in various subjects.
• Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, both colleges have decent facilities, including well-equipped libraries, computer labs, and sports facilities. However, Dyal Singh College is known to have better infrastructure overall.
• Crowd and Campus Life: Both colleges have a diverse student population and offer various extracurricular activities and student societies. However, Dyal Singh College is known to have a more active campus life, with a larger number of events and activities taking place throughout the year.
• Faculty: Both colleges have highly qualified and experienced faculty members. However, Dyal Singh College is known for having a more experienced and reputed faculty in various subjects.

Based on the above factors, Dyal Singh College does have an edge over Deshbandhu College.

Deshbandhu Collge is better for B.Sc. It has excellent science faculty. The college also offers unique courses such as Industrial Chemistry. It offers best facilities and learning resources for Science subjects. The science labs are well-equipped with latest technology and instruments. Deshbandu offers a good campus life as well. 

Among the four colleges it is recommended you go for Motilal Nehru College as it is much better in all aspects than the others mentioned.

• The whole campus is wifi enabled. 
• The computer lab has more than 100 computers and is well updated with all the necessary softwares.
• Hostel facilities are also available including basic amenities. 
• The sports ground is huge, the cultural team actively participates in singing, dancing and drama. 
• The Library has all books related to your course, Book bank is also there to take books for the whole year without paying a single penny. 
• Canteen is located at the end of the college which provides healthy and affordable meals.

Motilal is the second best college of South Campus after Shri Venkiteshwara and it boasts its infrastructure having the biggest library in the entire Delhi University. The history department is the best in Motilal.

Deshbandhu College is better than Shyam Lal College. Following are the reasons for the same:

• The alumni of the college are well-reputed and placed across the globe. 
• Deshbandhu College provides various opportunities for students to learn different things such as Arts, Sports, Maths, Literature, History, etc. It offers master’s oriented courses.
• Other than excellent academics, you will have access to various sports and extracurricular activities. 

The faculties at both institutes are good.

Deshbandhu is comparatively a better institution than Shyam Lal college. 

They are superior not only in academics but also in sports, extracurricular activities and they even mould the student to his best self. Deshbandhu has a better infrastructure which is appropriate for an educational institution.

The college provides the students the opportunity to learn about different things, including art, sports, math, literature, sciences and history, so that the students are able to discover what interests them and choose their goals accordingly. 

Deshbandhu provides them the basic steps needed to reach their destination. The faculty members are very helpful and cooperative, with their proper guidance students gather knowledge for a successful career ahead of them.

Ramanujan is better than Deshbandhu in every aspect. They offer the best faculty and infrastructure.

• Ramanujan college was previously Deshbandhu evening college but now it has transitioned to a morning college.
• Both the colleges are next to each other with separate buildings.
• Ramanujan definitely has much better infrastructure, faculty and student crowd than Deshbandhu college.
• If you want to pursue B.Com, Ramanujan will be a better option as it is the third largest college for commerce education under Delhi University.
• Ramanujan has a few good societies where students can participate.
• The commerce society of Ramanujan is the best in the college.
• The placement situation is more or less the same in both the colleges.

The downside to Deshbandhu is the environment. It has a very political environment with frequent conflicts happening every time during university elections. Therefore for focussing mainly on your studies you could go for Ramanujan.

One of my friends studied at Zakir Husain Delhi College (ZHDC). According to him, it was quite good considering the overall academics and environment of the college. 

• It is said to be the best college for commerce aspirants.
• B.Com (Hons.) is the most popular program at ZHDC. It has a huge demand among students. 
• They have a highly experienced faculty including both permanent and guest lecturers.
• Students from the B.Com department actively participate in fests, cultural activities, inter-college competitions, etc.
• Their placements are really great when compared to other colleges of its level.

Overall, studying in ZHDC is a really good experience and opportunity, here they get to learn about the intricacies of the course and how to apply them in professional life.
