This college was in number 9th of my preference list. The reason to be was library.i heard it is good and I agree but sometimes the books are not available so.this college was alloted to me in first around and I liked the experience here so didn't applied for any. Procedure is simple. U need to fil csat form for Delhi University and haevto score good in cuet.
The course of history includes 3 subject per year. Which covers most of the world and countries and their history. It might help history enthusiastic person to learn about the World. The areas to be improved are to take students on educational trips more often. The exams are conducted twice a year, once a semester. And their difficulty level is not that hard but there's less time to write too much content
I paid 14000 for my course of Bachelor's of arts (hons) history and I belong to general category. There are various scholarships available for students which are shared once in a while and also financial aid is provided by college in need.
The overall experience is nice once u get to know what to do and what not. College is as much about clubs as studies. It is good if u interact more. The festival annually held here is called sabrang. It invited various artists and is fun to attend.
College faculty is nice and really easily approachable as u can always go and find them in staff room and even in classes and u can call them too so it's also convenient. There are 7 exams as per new education policy. 3 are core subjects and 4 are others as SEC, VC, GE AND AEC.
course curriculum is well designed and covers most of the important topics. It helps in building good basics but I feel more practical exposure and industry related subjects should be added. Exams are held every semester with internals and if you study regularly they are not too difficult to clear.
There are placement cell in our college that is really active but that also depends from course to course not all The courses have placements. But recently internship/research work/community outreach options have been given to us instead of SEC.
Placement it's all depends upon u how much u r doing hardwork. We know that not everyone get placements there will be some students who will get placements so count yourself in those students u will definitely get placements and try doing different activities during your college like internships etc . Definitely u will get placements
As my course is SOCIOLOGY HONOURS this course needs a lot of field work which is not properly conducted by the college and i think that should be changed but still because of the professors it becomes easy to make the most out of the disciplines that you are choosing.
There are a large amount of course you can choose from in the school of open learning. I personally chose English honours as I was interested in the literature and mythological stories. The curriculum doesn't give you any exposure as there are classes only in Sundays so all the weekend you're on your own. I would suggest to improve the availability of the teachers and fix the teacher to students ratio
