Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum at SRM University, Amaravathi, initially appealed to me due to its comprehensive coverage of core computer science and engineering subjects, which influenced my decision to enroll. While the curriculum provides a solid foundation and prepares students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits, it sometimes feels outdated and not fully aligned with current industry trends. The frequency and timing of exams are manageable, with a moderate difficulty level that balances theoretical and practical knowledge. To enhance the curriculum, it would be beneficial to incorporate more contemporary topics, hands-on projects, and interactive teaching methods.
Read Full ReviewAnna University is better than SRM University. The university cutoff is around 99%. It has a good faculty base. The professors are experienced and well-qualified. The university fees are lower compared to other Govt. universities.
The university offers good placements. Anna University placements 2022 ended with an average CTC of INR 7 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 36 LPA. Ola, Cisco, DE Shaw, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the campus drive frequently.
Nirma University, DDIT, Nadiad, and SRM, AP are private institutions of the country. While all are approved by UGC, DDIT is also recognized by AICTE. Nirma University and DDIT are graded ‘A’ and ‘B++’ by NAAC, respectively.
The only differences between general and NRI seats are the fee and application process, for both DDIT and SRM AP.
