BIT - A whole chapter

What I Liked

I liked that the faculties here are very supportive and try their best to make us understand the concepts easily.also, the placement drive heads and faculties also make us aware of what is currently going on in the placement drives .
Also, dean mam of our college is so humble towards us. We can explore the collage by taking part into various societies based on our personal interests . infrastructure of the collage is also good as it contains air conditioned libraries and comp lab
I'm engaged in NGO run by our college named drishti. The social life of our several platforms are linked across various other platforms outside the collage which enables us to learn more from others and also to help others.

What I didn’t like

The thing that I disliked about my college is that it doesn't have a well to do campus.like there must be canteens in the campus and also , the campus area is quite large.if the building and parkings can be developed then the land can be utilised god
The other one is that the teaching hours for BCA ,BBA courses are only for 4 hours which make it difficult to cover such vast syllabus.
Other course should also have to provide here like btech , pharmacy, and several branches of btech.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostels rooms are not provided by the BIT lalpur itself. Some students live in public hostels, or PGs .others comes from their respective homes as they live nearby the collage . My hostel provides good menu and it's locality is at walkable distance from the collage

Campus Life:

I would like to say that that the overall experience with the campus life is somewhat both positive and negative for me. Campus life limits where the fests get organized because some students really don't show any excitement and it leads to large number of anticipation. Clubs and societies are too okay in order to become a smart personality of the collage and it also provides the certificates of achievements .

The truth of BIT lalpur

Campus Life:

Yes ofcourse there are several functions that are being organised by our college such as BITOTSAV which is the biggest annual festival of colleges in ranchi and many more functional programs are being organised by the college for the students. Many sports events also being organised by college such as kabbadi khokho cricket badminton volleyball etc.

A non biased review on BIT Lalpur

What I Liked

The classrooms are non co-ed in my course so it's easy for students who don't talk much to opposite gender to get comfortable.
Well Maintained classrooms with Air conditioner, well equipped and clean labs, clean washrooms, library with a wide range of books.
Faculties are with great experience, they teach with interest and involvement, give notes, every faculty is a PhD scholar.

What I didn’t like

The campus is not very big, it only has two buildings with no multipurpose halls.
The parking area is large but not very good, it is filled with stones and bricks and the guard doesn't lets us sit there even for 5 minutes.
Not very happy with the lift service as we have to climb stairs to go on the third floor, there are two lifts but they only let the teachers use it.

Campus Life:

The campus is not so big and lavish. There is an annual fest named Aurora. It is generally held in March. There are many societies and clubs which organizes different activities and set up their food and games stall for the students as well as the faculties. Coming to the library, it has a wide range of books but the seating space in not so good, only 20-25 students can sit at a time. There are many sports activities held in the college like kabbadi, kho kho, tug of war etc. the students are felicitated with medals and certificates.

BIT Lalpur is an extended campus of BIT Mesra. It offers only a selected course. In Undergraduate program Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and in Postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA), M.Sc degrees are offered.

Therefore, both the campuses are different from each other located at different locations. Both of them have their own recruiters and placement cell.
