Birla Institute of Technology Lalpur was established in 1997. It is a UGC recognized Deemed University situated in Lalpur, Ranchi. BIT Lalpur Admissions
- Candidates applying for BBA and BCA should have passed 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- Admission to BBA and BCA is done based on merit in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates applying for MBA should have passed 10+2+3 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any relevant stream from a recognized university are considered eligible for admission.
- Admission to MBA is done based on a valid score in CMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT.
- For MCA, candidates should have passed the BBA program with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks from a recognized university listed under UGC/AIU.
- Admission to MCA is done based on BIT MCA conducted by the Institution.
- For M.Sc., candidates should have passed B.Sc. degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks are considered eligible for admission.
- Admission to the M.Sc. is done based on marks secured in the qualifying examination.
- Applications are to be filled and submitted online. In addition to this, the printed copy has to be submitted to the college office.

- College provides scholarship to the ones who is in need so that they can get good quality education by spending the amount they can .

- No sports and extra curricular activities was not organised by college
- In this university, there is no co-education which is a essential part of our today generation.
- Campus life was totally missing and there was no event conducted on campus.

The course BCA overall contains the subjects equivalent to btech .however, not all the core subjects of btech but most of the subject. Here ,we face difficulties as the syllabus of aome subjects are very vast and the lectures provided to that particular subjects are quite minimum to cover it completely.here we have to also prepare by our self. Real life applications of the core subjects of BCA helps us to get placed in some service based companies and also ables us to make high level projects .however , most of the students choose to go for higher studies rather than jobs after BCA. The area of improvement here required is to make the teaching hours long and the infrastructure a little bit good. During exams , the clock isn't available in all the rooms results to the difficulties.
The placement drive was unfortunately unsuccessful this year ,2024. but otherwise the placement drives works very well here the highest Statics when students get placed is the year 2022. More offers come for MBA and MCA as they are master's degree.for bachelor like BBA and BCA, the companies offers an average of 3.5lpa to 6lpa. Students become eligible to get placed in their final year of the course. The on campus placement and off campus placement offers a wide range of packages and internships. During on campus placement, for BCA course, service based companies visits like wipro, infosis, Vodafone etc . The highest package offered by the Accenture of arounf 9lpa to the BBA undergraduate course in 2023. Recently, Accenture also visited for MCA sutdents. Sutdents placed from on campus is around 60-70 percent whereas other from them go for off campus interviews. Talking about my plan , I like to persue MCA after my undergraduate degree of BCA .I would like to prepare for nimcet.

The third year students are eligible for the placements. There are 129+ companies which comes for their support to the students such as aditya birla , reliance infosys wipro and many more. The highest package is 80lpa and the average is 7lpa 70-80% of students gest campus placement
Read Full ReviewI chose BBA because I want to pursue MBA further so BBA will be a base for me to go further in business administration. The College can consider of giving notes in the form of ppt as it makes learning easy and we can get the key points. The are four exams throughout on semester. Two quizzes, mid semester and end semester. Quizzes are conducted in our own classroom, it is of 10 marks, mid semester is of 25 marks and end semester is of 50 marks also there are 5 marks for the assignment. You have to score 40 out of 100 all over to pass a subject.
There are placement for all the courses but mainly only MBA MCA and BCA students take part in it because BBA students want to pursue Mba just after completing BBA. Students are eligible for placement from their second last semester. There are many recruiters, delloite, capegemini, wipro, Infosys are some of them. The Average package for bba is 3-4 lpa. I want to get a job after completing BBA to gain work experience.
