IIITDM Kurnool Courses and Eligibility
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Management Kurnool offers three specializations in the Undergraduate program, Bachelors of Technology and five specializations in the Doctoral program. The details of the courses and their eligibility are given below:
Course 1: B.Tech (CSE, EE, and ME)
- Duration – 4 Years
- Seat Intake – 40 each specialization
- Eligibility – Intermediate(10+2) in Science with at least 75%, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects

Admission to undergraduate courses is based on the JEE Main Cutoff and seats are allocated by JoSAA whereas admission to doctoral courses is based on GATE/NET cutoff followed by the personal interview:

IIITDM Kurnool Scholarships
Candidates can avail scholarships based on merit and economical level. There are two kinds of scholarships can be availed by the students:
- Scholarship for SC students - B.Tech students belonging to scheduled caste and economically weaker backgrounds (annual income - INR 6 lakhs or less) will be given scholarship from the central government. For details, click: (www.scholarships.gov.in.)
- National Fellowship for ST students - B.Tech students belonging to scheduled tribe, INR 45,000 will be admissible for computer accessories, INR 3000 for Books and Stationary, and INR 2,200 for living expenses (hostelers)

- The faculty is very qualified and teach us very effectively, some professors are hard to understand but overall the faculty is pretty nice.
- They provide one cot one almera, two bulbs one fan in the single occupancy room food quality is good enough they provide both north and south indian food in the college the hostel is good because they constructed recently.
- These classrooms have wifi connectivity, acs, comfortable and student friendly seats and tables.
Dislikes
- The campus is located on the outskirts of Kurnool city. So you will be disconnected from the city life. If you are from the North then definitely you may face language problems while countering the locals. But stilll you can manage No big problem
- Passing exam can be difficult due to tough papers covering the syallbus with limited time for preparation
- Outing times are really low it is difficult to catch transport vehicles and come int time into the campus

You should prefer IIIT Kottayam. It has a similar curriculum as IIIT Hyderabad. IIIT Kottayam placements 2022 concluded with the highest CTC of INR 42 LPA. IIIT Vadodara should be your preference. It has an excellent placement record along with a top-notch coding culture. The no of GSoC selections is at an all-time high. Students of the institute are actively engaging in competitive coding.
IIIT Vadodara placements 2021 concluded with the highest CTC of INR 43.5 LPA. The average CTC offered was INR 11.53 LPA. Amazon, ICICI Bank, Mathworks, Code Nation, etc. are the major recruiters for the institute.
As both of these are IIITs, they will never fail in delivering quality education to their students. However, there are some aspects due to which IIIT Sri City has an edge over IIITDM Kurnool. Here’s why:

All three IIITs are established by MHRD and offer an excellent education to students.
- IIIT Kurnool is one of the five fully funded IIIT by MHRD. So, IIIT Kurnool charges a little less for courses as compared to IIIT Vadodara and IIIT Una. The faculty base at IIIT Kurnool is not that great.
- IIIT Kurnool and IIIT Una do not have a permanent campus. Their temporary campus is IIIT Kancheepuram and NIT Hamirpur, respectively. On the other hand, IIIT Vadodara has a permanent campus.
