curriculum is good you will get many new things to learn many software to learn but at your own the teachers here will not teach you that beacause they also do not know that things exams held twice a semester one is end term and one is mid term
Read Full ReviewCourse structures is very nice having lab with similar subjects. Each lab is provided too much knowledge. Each two month having exam mid sem then end sem and classes held regularly. Very nice curriculum.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum at IIIT Kota is designed to align with the current trends and demands in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). As a relatively new IIIT, the curriculum is typically modern and industry-relevant, aiming to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Industry Alignment: The curriculum is crafted to meet the needs of the tech industry, focusing on emerging technologies, programming, data science, artificial intelligence, and other critical areas in IT. This relevance ensures that students are well-prepared for the job market upon graduation. Interdisciplinary Approach: Many courses encourage an interdisciplinary approach, integrating knowledge from various fields like mathematics, electronics, and management to provide a well-rounded education.
Read Full ReviewIIITs do not have mechanical and civil and it is beneficial for students like us to focus more on IT hub and that's why I chose IIIT over NITs. Curriculum is really very well maintained and made as of compared to better colleges they have AI specialisations and subjects like DBMS software DSA in second semester. So we could understand the basics of DSA AND START competitive programming in starting . Talking about some of the problems in curriculum is in ECE curriculum where we have so much core subjects but no placement options there so we should have some relaxation like we can shift 2 subject to cse or ai if we want. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on their difficulty level is very good as mid terms are in 1.5 months and that's enough time and after 2 months there are end terms the time of end term can be increased.
Read Full ReviewThe curriculum of college is good as compared to iits and nits as they somehow teach some industry irrelevant stuff in 1st and 2nd sem like physics and chemistry . But here also you will get some subjects of humanities and will think that why this is being taught . But this is how the system works . Coming to core cse curriculum it is completely industry relevant , web dev is taught to you in workshop and DSA is taught to you in 2nd sem , other core cse topics like DBMS comes from 3rd sem onwards .
Read Full ReviewMost probably relevant I would say, because we only have CSE subjects like ( DSA, WebD, C lang, OS, OOPS, DBMS, Computer Architecture and Organisation, AI/ML, Python etc) also maths (Differentiablity, Integration, Probability, Statistics) and some of the electricals subjects this is pretty good curriculum and trains us bin best possible way for industry. I would say no improvement in curriculum is requireed it is already good. 4 exam per year - two mid sem and two end sem and one time practicals at the end of year. Difficulty Level - Medium
Read Full ReviewIIIT Kota is very new and is yet to make a mark with respect to IIIT Jabalpur. Whereas, with IIIT-Jabalpur the placements do keep varying. More or less, the placements are improving.
Academics:
So, to put it together, the academics are nice, but placements can be improved. Being from IIIT gives you a special charm. Also, being new IIITs, they will take some time to establish themselves and the education factor is quite decent when compared to tier-2 private engineering colleges. But, they still have a long way to go reach the bar set by NITs or IITs.
The top bracket companies pay really well, but these new IIITs won't be the first choice for these companies. The mid-range paying companies will flock to these new IIITs; so, you will get a decent package.
So overall, it is better to have something than nothing.
When talking about IIIT-Kota it has its own pros and cons. Some might like it because of its good CSE placements and brand tag of IIIT or some would like it because of its curriculum. When we talk about the campus of IIIT-Kota it is not up to the mark and some would not feel like belonging there and regret the decision of opting one.

CONS:
Lastly, teachers are helpful but the teaching quality is not good. The curriculum of the college is good, and placements are available for both branches. IIIT-Kota doesn’t conduct its own college fest. It’s boring and way too sloppy in this part. Other things except for hostel facilities are all good.

You must follow your passion and go for the stream over college. After all, your choice will either make or break your future depending on how you tackle the circumstances.
Choose IIIT Guwahati if you want CSE. If you choose metallurgy go for NIT Warangal. If you don’t know, like IIIT Kota has MNIT Jaipur, IIIT Guwahati has IIT Guwahati as its mentor institute.
The infrastructure, faculty, and placement opportunities are far better there due to the presence of already established IIIT G. This makes a lot of difference and gives an extra helping hand to IIIT-Guwahati. Being a new institute, IIIT G will not limit your options and you will also have an ample amount of opportunities coming in your way. IIITG already has great affiliations with top industry groups and even has an IT park coming up next to it.
Let’s have a brief perspective and a quick overview of all:
Also, I believe that all the top colleges in the country have almost the same level of standards of teaching, placements, opportunities for further education. In short, it opens lots of doors for you in the future.
The reason which sets these colleges apart from others is how much they allow their students to get enough exposure to culture for the next 4 years and also to work under and with the guidance of the brightest minds in the country. You learn a lot more from your friends in college than your professors, irrespective of IITs or NITs.
My brother is from LNMIIT so I can tell you why LNMIIT is a better choice.
Ranking and Accreditation:
LNMIIT holds 2nd rank among the best IT colleges in Jaipur and 3rd best private college in Rajasthan. LNMIIT is approved by AICTE and has also been accredited by NAAC with a grade 'A'.
Alumni Network:
IIIT Kota is a recent IIIT and yet to establish a strong alumni database. Whereas, LNMIIT has a very strong Alumni base, including some notable personalities like Hemant Purohit (Assistant Professor at Information Sciences and Technology at George Mason University, Washington DC), Sanjay Goyal (Senior Engineer at InterDigital Labs, Tandon School of Engineering at Brooklyn, USA), Radhika Loomba (Research Scientist at Intel Labs Europe) and so on.
The video comprises an honest review of LMNIT
These are some of the perks of attending LNMIIT. Now, you can compare the institute with IIIT Kota and decide.
The most important thing in engineering is your knowledge and skills. Doing well in academics does not ensure good placements. There have been many pieces of evidence where toppers could not fetch placement.
IIIT Kota is good in terms of placement. It is a national institute and gives you the tag of IIIT. But, when it comes to understanding between faculties and students, it has a way to go. This makes the environment not likable. A friend of mine attended the institute and didn’t quite like the environment there.
Apart from this IIIT Kota is quite good for CSE, you will get to experience many things there. There are many hackathons, coding events, sports events in which you can take part. There are many timely workshops organized by Technical Club, Google DSC, and Microsoft Student Partner. FlairFiesta is the annual cultural-techno fest of the institute.
So, overall IIIT Kota is a decent option for CSE.
IIIT Kota is one of the recent IIITs established in the past few years. In this limited period, it has made good improvement. In the first placement season itself, it has witnessed the highest package of 28 lakhs and almost more than 50 percent of students were placed.
