To apply for the postgraduate level degree courses, candidates must be a graduate and have a bachelor’s degree.
For B.Tech program, applicants must have appeared in.
Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the highest level of education.

Rayat Bahra University offers B.A, B.Sc., B.Tech, B. Com, BCA, B.Pharm., B.Voc., BHM, BHMCT, BBA, and LLB degree courses at the undergraduate level.

To apply for B.Tech. and B.Sc. courses, candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects with minimum 50% marks. Students must have passed Class XII in Science or Commerce with Mathematics or Statistics with minimum 50% marks to be eligible for other courses.

Rayat Bahra University offers MA, M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MBA, MHMCT, MTTM, LL.M. and M.Pharma degree courses at the postgraduate level.

Rayat Bahra University Ph.D and M.Phil Courses Admission

Rayat Bahra University also offers PhD courses. To be eligible to apply for PhD degree, candidates must have a master’s degree in the relevant subject(s) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA.

Rayat Bahra University Application Process

Aspirants looking for admission in Rayat Bahra University are required to apply in online mode on the official website of the SRMU. Here are the steps to apply:

Candidates are required to create their username and password for accessing the university portal and starting of the admission process.
Fill and submit the online application form with all relevant information.
They will have to wait for the confirmation email.
If no confirmation email received within 24 hours, candidates are advised to drop an email to int.admissions@rayatbahra.com
Once the online application and all supporting documents are received, it will be reviewed and “Offer Letter” may be issued by the university, which may be either for “provisional admission or conditional offer letter” as the case may be.
After receiving offer letter, candidates have to pay the required registration fee.

Is Rayat Bahra University Worth it?

What I Liked

The university is under continuous improvement and expansion which proves that our money is being used to improve the facilities provided to us.
The availability of shops in the university removes the need for travel and are easily accessible till night.
The availability of different courses and partnership with companies such as Microsoft provides students with brilliant experience.

What I didn’t like

The hostel rooms need improvement but it's fine for what we pay.
If you are someone who is heavily into sports then it's a problem as there are not much sports events you can participate into.

Remarks:

The course is eligible for everyone who wants to pursue it and due to the university's course fees, it's easy for people to pursue their dreams. The application forms can be found online on the website or can be taken from the admission center in the university. The exams are carried out between the semester which is known as mid-term and after the semester which are known as the End semester which as the name suggests are carried out at the end of the 5th month of the semester. The admission process can be improved by adding an online admission process as well to ease people from far away places.

Ask from any passouts no one will recommend you to join this university. Self addition is zero. Teaching doesnot happens. Throughout my graduation what i have seen is teachers leaving the university because they dont get paid their salaries for 3–6mo

Now, as my initial visit to the college winds to a close, I’m still unclear about the focus of the planning retreat that we’ll be facilitating in only two-days and unsure about my own role in the process. What I do have, however, is a much better grasp of the situation that the college is facing. In recent years, the principal and teachers have experienced a growing disconnect between their philosophy of learning and their ability to live out that philosophy with their students. What I Liked

It has very good campus along with the faculty they provide a better environment in terms of social and mental expirence
The students teacher coordination is very better among all courses among them they provide a lots of social and musical function which makes a students more calm and reliable

What I didn’t like

They don't have such types of classrooms that are suitable for studying conditions especially in summer.
Consultancy is a big fault in the university admission cell which cause lots of problems for students.
Playing grounds are not well maintained that is a very important along with studies

Remarks:

I suggest that the consultants should be removed from there and there should be the direct admission in the university through the registered employees of the university because consultants play a very bad role in the university.

The reasons for selecting Chandigarh University are self-explanatory:

A well-balanced, industry-specific curriculum.

Rayat Bahra University is a private university in India with Grade ‘A’ accreditation by NAAC and UGC approved.

The university looks lucrative, but it is worse. Your experience will turn out to be unpleasant. The following are the troubles faced by the students of Rayat Bahra University.

It is a money-minded institute. The institute collects monetary contributions for every upcoming event.
Even for the Wi-Fi, you need to pay separately, but you cannot access the facility.
The faculty members lack teaching skills. They have limited knowledge. Sometimes it can be felt that the students are more intelligent than the teachers.

In addition to these, even the placements are not guaranteed by the university.

These reasons justify why the institute has no rank in any of the authentic-official rankings.

There are several reasons why you should not take admission to Rayat Bahra University, Mohali.

One of them is its placement. The jobs offered are in the BPO sector or telephonic. Surprisingly, they lack any core placement. The students of the university are not highly satisfied with the placement records they commonly have to go through.
The packages usually ranged from 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Mainly, the university lacks the crucial commodities required for law students. Amenities such as courtrooms or trial rooms are commonly not seen at Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, making it one of the biggest downsides.
Other than that, there is allegedly no professionalism. The department of law usually does not conduct expert sessions, webinars, seminars, or workshops for students.
It is alleged that the faculties are usually not paid their salaries often for about a period of 6 months.
The syllabus or the curriculum commonly followed by the university is not up to the Industrial Standards and students generally get affected due to most of it.

If you are looking to pursue BBA then Rayat Bahra is a better choice than Chandigarh University. I have one of my friends doing BBA from Rayat Bahra and I can give you some information about the BBA program at Rayat Bahra.

Take a look at the following table and you will get basic information about Rayat Bahra and Chandigarh University.

Rayat Bahra’s School of Management is a good branch for pursuing BBA. After completing BBA you can also go for an MBA from Rayat Bahra. Along with running a traditional management program Rayat Bahra also runs a new specialization in MBA. It includes Digital Marketing, Financial Analytics, Banking. Rayat Bahra also provides dual specialization courses.
