IMS Unison University (IUU) is nestled in the hills of Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Established in the year 1996, IUU is a non-profit private university recognized by UGC. Admission to courses such as BBA, Integrated BBA-MBA, B.Com (Hons), MHM and MA in English is based on merit in the qualifying exam and performance in a personal interview.
In case of BA, BA (Hons), BHM and MA in Journalism & Mass Communication, along with merit and interview, the institute also considers the entrance test score conducted by itself.
Securing admission in Integrated BBA.LLB (Hons) and BA.LLB (Hons) is based on merit, CLAT/LSAT score followed by personal interview.
While admission to LLM depends upon the University Admission Test/CLAT score and PI.
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA on the basis of performance in Aptitude Test and PI.
Candidates interested in pursuing Ph.D degree offered by the University must have a valid score in NET/SLET/SET, IUU Admission Test and PI.
The final selection for all the courses is based on the performance in the Personal Interview round.

IMS Unison University (IUU) Dehradun UG Admission 2023

Undergraduate programs offered by IMS Unison University (IUU) include three-year degree courses viz. BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.A, BA (Hons). Four-years degree course of BHM and Integrated course of BBA-MBA and five-year integrated course of BA-LLB (Hons) and BBA-LLB (Hons).

The eligibility for all the courses is a pass in 10+2 with minimum required marks. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam followed by personal interview.

For courses such as BA in J&MC and BA (Hons), the university conducts an additional entrance test. Admission to Integrated Law courses is based on CLAT/LSAT score.

Admission to Integrated Law programs are given based on merit and performance in personal interview with preference to CLAT or LSAT score-holders.

CLAT is a centralized law entrance examination while LSAT is a standardized test designed by USA–based Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
To be eligible for five-year integrated law courses, candidates should not be less than 20 years of age as on July 1.

IMS Unison University (IUU) Dehradun PG Admission 2023

In addition to undergraduate courses, the university offers several post-graduate courses such as MBA, M.A, MHM and LLM. The duration of MBA, MA and MHM course is three years while the duration of LLM is one year.

Candidates applying for PG courses must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Admission to MA and MHM is based on merit and personal interview. In case of MA in English, the university also conducts an additional entrance test.

The selection of students for MBA course is done on the basis of the Aptitude Test while for LLM, IIU conducts a University Admission Test. Those who have a valid CLAT score are exempted from the test. The final selection is based on the PI round.

IUU offers courses at research level in the 5 different fileds. Candidates can enroll themselves either as full-time or part-time research scholars In Hospitality Management and Liberal Arts- English. S

The minimum eligibility for Ph.D. is a Master’s degree. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit list prepared as per the entrance exam scores, IUU Admission Test and performance in the personal interview.

IMS Unison University (IUU) Application Process 2023

The application can be filled through online and offline mode by following the below given steps:

Online Mode:

Go to the official website of IMS Unison University.
Fill in the details such as name, email address and contact number.
Upon filling-up the above details, an OTP will be sent to the candidate via SMS.
Enter this OTP and fill remaining details such as state, city, program, course and gender to register yourself.
After registration, proceed to fill the application form with all the necessary details.
Subsequently, you are required to pay application fee of INR 1000 via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ NEFT/ RTGS.
After payment of application fee, a receipt is generated which shall be used in further application process.
Next, you should take a printout of the form and send it along with the scanned copies of all the required documents.

Offline Mode:

Applicants should visit the Admission Office of IUU and register by paying INR 1000 in cash or through DD drawn in favor of the university.

Upon successful registration, candidates are required to complete the admission process. Candidates are requested to visit college website on a regular basis for admission updates.

IMS Unison University (IUU) Scholarships

Uttarakhand Category Candidates: IUU grants scholarships to Uttarakhand domicile candidates upto 40% of the total intake in each program. This scholarship gives 26% tuition fee waiver for the complete duration of the program. It is based on first-come-first-serve and given to students after they have deposited complete fees at the time of admission.
All India Category Candidates: Merit scholarship is granted to All India candidates under UG/PG programs, applicable for only first year of the program as mentioned in the table given below:

Scholarship for Girl Students: This scholarship is awarded to all the Girl candidates under All India category in all UG/PG programs. The university offers 10% of tuition fee which is applicable for the complete duration of the program.
Scholarship for Wards of Martyrs (Defense & Central Armed Police Forces): IUU Awards scholarship to Wards of Martyrs of Defence / CAPF Personnel under All India category in all programs. This scholarship gives 100% tuition fee waiver for the complete duration of the program.
