Discovering my path in uttranchal University

What I Liked

The things I like about my college is the teacher and the structure program
The college provide many programs to get students opportunity
The college library is very nice with e library also available

What I didn’t like

The rooms are hot as it have fans in classes
The speed breaker in campus is many whichske difficulty
They don't give opportunity to make different cr

Campus Life:

There are many fest like dikhsha,tech - talent,magic of hand coding, Books are very much you can get very good Books almost every books are available We have projectors and computer labs for proper development mock interviews I play fottball,but rather then there is cricket, basketball, vollyball,arm wrestling,punji,freefire,chess and manyy more. Yess I personally run sports club and there are 10 + club like dancing club , sports club,arts club, posters making club etc.

My Experience at Uttaranchal University: A Great Mix of Learning and Campus Life

What I Liked

The beautiful and serene campus, which is not just well- maintained but also equipped with modern amenities. The infrastructure includes a comprehensive library, and well-structured classrooms, all of which contribute to a conducive learning nature.
The Faculty deserves a special mention for their expertise and dedication. Professors are well-versed in their respective fields and also approachable and willing to assist students outside of regular class hours.
Social life is vibrant and inclusive. University hosts several events, club activities that cater to diverse interests, allowing students to explore their passions beyond the classroom

What I didn’t like

The Variety of Companies and industries represented was somewhat limited. This narrowed scope of options available to students, particularly those looking to enter niche fields.

Campus Life:

The annual cultural fest "Festla", The "Yuva Fest" and the Famous Hackathons of UPCS are highlights, bringinh the campus together each year in march and november. The liberary offers a great selection of books and journals, ehile classrooms are modern and tech equipped, making learning seamless. There's a strong focus on extracurriculars, with plenty of sports and clubs to join.

Student Opinion

What I Liked

The university does not need any reforms but if specialization is added to the courses then it will be better for the students.
Social interaction is also very good in this university.
The teaching staff is the best. Recorded sessions are also made available by the university.

What I didn’t like

It would have been better if the syllabus was a little more upgraded.
Side projects are a great way to help with career guidance. But career guidance is not that helpful in this university
I like cricket very much. It would be better if cricket or other sports facilities are good.

Campus Life:

Festivals or other social service programs are being organised. Our university is the best in terms of social services. They also celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, Diwali etc. The environment is very friendly. There are also many sports activities like cricket, hockey, badminton, football, table tennis etc. & And many students of our university also represent the country at the national level.

Best university in Dehradun

What I Liked

Faculty members are very good and they help students throughout the session
Infrastructure of the college are very good hostel room are also very good and mess food is very tasty
You can get very high package and intership opportunities are also provided by college

What I didn’t like

College will provide uniform which I don’t like
College is off on Saturday and library are closed at 9:00 pm
College is very expensive and their is no scholarships provided by college

Hostel Facilities:

All the hostel of this college is very good 1,2,3 ,4 seater rooms are available which is very big and comfortable and taste if mess fiod is also very good Hostels are very neat and clean all the days

Campus Life:

The overall experience in this college is very good faculty of this college is very educated and placement percentage of this college is also very good . Sports and extra curriculum activities of this college is better than other colleges in dehradun

Overall good college

What I Liked

The hostels were good and provide so many facilities
The infrastructure is amazinggg and campus is really beautiful
The faculties were great and helping through out the semester

What I didn’t like

Average package is a bit low according to our expectations
The hostel mess provide average taste in food
Some building do not have lifts and thats an issue

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is affordable 3 seater costed me 92000 and the rooms were also good but the mess food is average. And the laundry facility is also waste because they don't clean the clothes they just took our clothes and came back with the clothes as it is on 3rd day after taking clothes. You have to register hostel atleast 2months before admission as they claim to have no rooms left at the time of college starting

Campus Life:

College life is top notch . We had fest in which neha kakkar and rohanpreet performed. We have diwali carnival and many other celebration throughout the year. However they never give freshers party. There are 2 major clubs they are cultural club and literary club . You have to give interview for each club

What I Liked

I like the college campus, most, and our food course is Very big.
I like the way teacher teach in the classrooms.
Yes, engagement with Life and the quality of Social interaction is good.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the dress code system of our college.
I dislike that Exam schedules of Our college.
Some faculties are not good in our college.

Campus Life:

They are so many annual and technical festival held in our college Like yuva fest,uim fest,uu fest etc. every class have projectors and smart TV to teach there are so many books available in our library yeah, o our college have so many sports and extra circular activities offer to student and our college held so many sports competitions in college they are so many social groups, clubs, in our college they impact very good on student life. They help to make new friends in student and I think we should join the group and get so many knowledge about college.

Some of my friends attended Uttaranchal University. Their experience at the institute has been good.

According to my friends, the infrastructure of UU is quite good. The faculty members are well-qualified and supportive of the students. The environment on campus is great for studies. Although UU has strict rules and regulations regarding attendance.

Which is better for Btech CS Uttaranchal University or Graphic Era Dehradun?

Graphic Era is definitely a better option for B.Tech CS, compared to Uttranchal University. The faculties, lab facilities, and placement opportunities offered for CSE, at the university are better than any other college in Dehradun. The average CTC offered for CSE students during placements is around 5 LPA. More than 200 companies visit the campus placement. Graphic Era fee structure for B.Tech CSE is approximately around 13.32 lakhs.

Uttaranchal University is an average university at best. However, infrastructure wise it is one of the best universities in Uttarakhand. The university has a huge green campus. It also has a huge library. However, if you want decent academics, it will be better to not opt for this university. The student crowd is average. There are also no placement opportunities available.

Yes, Uttaranchal University is a good option for pursuing a BSc Agriculture. The university offers great infrastructural facilities. The agricultural labs are well-equipped for learning core and specialized curriculum. There is a state-of-the-art agricultural chemistry lab too. This lab was established for conducting chemical analysis of diverse plants and soil samples. There are also other labs and teaching resources like Plant Pathology lab, Microbiology lab, etc. All labs have demonstration aids, models, specimens and experimental support system.

It is a great option for LLB, BALLB, BBALLB. In fact, it is considered one of the topmost universities in Uttarakhand state. It has a good infrastructure. The law faculty of the institute is also quite decent. Uttaranchal University LLB fees are quite affordable. It will cost you around 2.98 lakhs for the 3 years long LLB course.
