Q: How can a student register for SVBPUAT?

Registration shall consist of the following steps:(i) Enrolment of the students in various courses with individual Instructors at a particular place, date, and time.(ii) Payment of the University fees and other dues to the Comptroller and the Dean student Welfare.(iii) Depositing with the Registrar the prescribed registration cards/ forms, duly filled in and signed by the Advisor, Instructors, and other officers concerned.

Important Updates for SVPUAT} }

SVBPUAT Meerut BTech admissions are based on JEE Main score 2024 followed by UPTAC Counselling. SVBPUAT BTech admissions 2024 registration deadline has been extended till December 04. SVBPUAT UG and PG admissions are based on CUET UG and CUET PG scores. NTA has declared the CUET UG and CUET PG exam dates. The CUET UG and CUET PG 2024 exams will be held from May 15 to May 31, and from March 11 to March 28, 2024 respectively.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology (SVBPUAT) was established in the year 2000 and is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. University offers courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate levels. The college also offers Ph.D. (68 seats) and diploma programs. Courses offered at UG level are B.Sc. (Hons.) in agriculture, B.V.Sc. & A.H. in veterinary science and B.Tech in biotechnology with a total of 295 available seats. M.Sc. in agriculture and M.Tech in agriculture engineering, M.Tech / M.Sc. in biotechnology are the courses offered at the postgraduate level with a total 107 available seats. These courses are offered under the agriculture, biotechnology and veterinary science streams.

For admission in undergraduate courses offered by SVBPUAT, candidates should have completed their 10+2 studies with 50% aggregate.
For admission in the M.Tech in agriculture engineering course, candidates should be holders of B.Tech degree from a relevant field of study.
For admission into the M.Tech / M.Sc. in biotechnology, candidates who have completed B.Tech or B.Sc. in Biotechnology are eligible. Candidates with B.Sc. in Biology are not eligible for this course.
Candidates should appear for the CATET (Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test) entrance exam to be eligible for admission in all the courses available at SVBPUAT.
Candidates applying for admission in the Ph.D. programs should have completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from relevant field of study.
Candidates applying to the diploma programs should have completed intermediate studies in agriculture science or should have taken up Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects at the 10+2 level.

SVBPUAT B.Sc., B. V. Sc., B.Tech , and Diploma Admission 2023

Candidates applying for admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) agriculture, B. V. Sc. and B.Tech (biotechnology) degree at SVBPUAT are required to have completed intermediate in agriculture science or 10+2 with PCB/PCMB with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized board.

Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria are required to appear in the UPCATET entrance exam. Counselling for UG courses will be conducted by UPCATET from June 24 onwards.

10% relaxation in qualifying exam is given to candidates of reserved category.
Age limit for admission in B. V. Sc. course is from 17 to 23.

A weightage of 2% will be given to those students who participated in inter university / state level sports competition in the B.Sc. and B.Tech courses.

SVBPUAT PhD Admission 2023

Candidates can obtain a PhD from 11 different specializations at SVBPUAT. Those applying for admission into the PhD programs should have completed their undergraduate and postgraduate education from a relevant field of study.

Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria are required to appear in the UPCATET entrance exam. UPCATET is a state level exam conducted by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. The counseling for the UG courses will be conducted by UPCATET from June 24 onwards.

SVBPUAT Application Process 2023

Application form for UPCATET is available on its official website.
After filling the application form, upload scanned photograph and signature.
Application fees for general and OBC category is INR 1250 and for SC / ST candidates is INR 1050.
Payment can be made online through net banking or through e-challan deposited in any branch of SBI bank.
Following documents in original have to be produced for verification and submitting before counselling along with application form:

SVBPUAT Scholarship 2023

Scholarship from Mandi Parishad: This scholarship is available to the students registered in bachelor and post graduate programs in agriculture only.
National Talent Scholarship: Students admitted in the university through ICAR are awarded INR 1000 per month provided they attain minimum GPA of 7.5/10 in case of general/OBC or 6.5/10 in case of SC/ST students.
