Course Details

MJPRU BCA admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply for BCA admission at MJPRU affiliated colleges has been extended to July 29, 2024. Interested candidates can register online on the official admission portal of MJPRU @admission.mjpruiums.in. MJPRU offers B.C.A. course in its several affiliated colleges of Bareilly, Budaun, Bijnor, J.P. Nagar (Amroha), Moradabad, Pilibhit, Rampur, Sambhal & Shahjahanpur. The B.C.A course is offered for 3 years (6 semesters). The candidates belonging to General to the OBC categories need to secure at least 45% marks for taking admission whereas, the candidates of SC/ST categories are required to score at least 40% marks in aggregate at the 10+2 level examination. Admissions will be based on merit (Marks secured in the 10+2 examination).

MJPRU BCA Colleges

The candidates who have a gap of more than 3 years in their studies will not be considered eligible for pursuing a B.C.A. course in MJPRU.

MJPRU BCA Eligibility Criteria

The candidates of General and OBC categories need to score at least 45% marks in the aggregate of 10+2 class level board examinations.
Whereas, the SC/ST candidates are required to score at least 40% aggregate marks in the same examination.
All candidates must have completed their 10+2 class from CBSE or its equivalent recognised board.
All candidates must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in their 10+2 class.

How to Apply?

Students seeking admission to B.C.A course at MJPRU must register themselves on the official website of MJPRU. The steps below will guide through the registration process for BCA at MJPRU:

Visit the official website of MJPRU & search for admission portal.
Now, Click on the 'UG Admission Registration'.
To register, a student must select the board, year of passing intermediate, roll-number. Re-enter these credentials in the next box.
After that click on the 'Agree with the declaration'.
Enter captcha which will be showing.
Now, candidates should proceed to the form and fill the form.
Pay the application fee of INR 450.
Submit the form and take out the print out of the same.

Which is better for engineering MJPRU or AKTU?

AKTU is better for Engineering. For technical courses, it is among the top institutes in Uttar Pradesh. AKTU has an excellent faculty pool. The faculties are alumni of institutes like KNIT, IET, etc. The course curriculum and programs are well-designed according to the industry trends.

Engineering students need different kinds of environments for exposure. AKTU offers exactly that. There are various clubs, student councils, technical and non-technical forums, that you can opt for. AKTU placements are excellent. Students usually receive an average CTC of around INR 6 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to INR 14 LPA.

MJPRU offers a pleasant campus experience. It may take some time to get used to the environment, at first. Classes are regular, the university schedule offers a lot of time to prepare for entrance examinations.

MJPRU placements are decent. Around 50-60% of students get placed through the campus drive each year. Infosys, Justdial, Aditya Birla, etc. Many students also opt for off-campus placements.
