Students are eligible after 3rd year that is 7th semester. Placement criteria are good and an average of 3lpa is provided by various companies. Many companies visit the campus like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Wipro, and many more. 80% of the students are placed and the highest package is 45lpa of a 3rd year student in B.Tech only.
Any student above 60% in their 12th can apply at GLA University. Application form is available online as well as offline and you have to pass an internal test called GLAET (GLA Entrance Test). Admissions are open from July to August. You can get a scholarship easily if you have scored 80% or above in your 12th(only PCM) or 85 or above %ile in JEe mains.
Read Full ReviewStudents are eligible to sit in the placement dives by the 5th semester. There are many companies that came to our university like Accenture, cognizant, etc. The highest package offered is 55 lakh per annum. About 80% get placed every year.
Anyone who has taken PCM is eligible for the BTECH program. Anyone can find the application form on the GLA website, you will have to pay about 700 for the application form and you can choose a date for the online exam as per your choice. I don't know about the reservation benefits.
Read Full Reviewin my course after 3rd semester even at the end of 2nd sem student is eligible for placement, at companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, etc. In MCA highest package was around 7.5 lpa, average would be around 4.5 lpa. almost 65 to 70 % of students get placed. I am looking forward to being placed right now.
I am doing MCA here so for this course, the eligibility criteria are, you have done your graduation in BCA, B.sc computer science or B.sc with mathematics or at least you have mathematics in your intermediate, you have to secure at least 50% in your graduation. you can simply connect with the GLA office nearby you or you can directly contact the USD for the application form and get the application fees and fee details, the examination process is quite simple and I don't think I should add anything to this process.

I'm from Agra so I applied online and filled out my application form then I took my entrance exam online then I got my admission letter and the cut off is PCM with 60% the process was very easy there is no complications during my admission process.

The faculty members are really supportive towards students and all the faculty members are highly qualified as required. If I talk about exams, they are quite tough but with regular studies, it is not much tough for them to qualify.
I would say the addmission process is really easy and eligibility is also good as being an average student I was able to take admission in my preferred course and all the required information is easily available on the GLAU official portal.
Read Full ReviewThe faculty is nice, we get qualified faculties course is also good and has so much scope. faculty is very friendly and helpful all over it is good. Exam timing is so good all things are done punctually but attendance criteria are also there 75% attendance is necessary.
For Admission, we need to take one entrance exam which is not that hard to qualify for. application forms are available at the GLA online portal and all other information or formalities can be done by visiting campus.

In GLA University, admission is based on the 12th and on the basis the rank in the jee exam. They also took their own exam for the selection process in different courses on undergraduate and postgraduate courses

Try to prepare for admission in government colleges rather than private colleges.
My cousin used to be a student of PSIT Kanpur and as per his experience, private colleges always are always charging higher fees without giving proper exposure in return. The amount of total fee charged for the programs is more than the packages granted by the companies that visit the campus during placements.
You should refrain from seeking admission to PSIT because the output from their end is zero.
GLA Mathura, on the other hand, despite being a private university is better than PSIT Kanpur. It is not only one of the best private universities in Uttar Pradesh, but in India as well. It also boasts of promising placements in every department.
One of my friends studied Computer Science Engineering at UPES, Dehradun. So let me share his experience about UPES. This might give you a basic understanding.

FACULTY
- The faculty here are really good, supportive, hardworking and always helpful.

Placements for the last few years of B Pharm have gone very well. Students have got very good career opportunities and jobs. To conclude, GLA mathura is better than PSIT kanpur.
Amity University Noida is a better option for B.Tech in CS. It offers good infrastructure. Amity has a good faculty base for CSE. Reputed MNCs such as Infosys, IBM, TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. recruit from the campus drive. According to the recent highlights of Amity Noida placements, the average CTC for the CSE students is around INR 4.5-5 LPA.
For a BTech, GLA University is better. The infrastructure is as good as it is advised. GLA faculties are brilliant. The professors are friendly and cooperative. During GLA University placements 2022, a total of 810 students received recruitment. Accenture, Wipro, Microsoft, Capgemini, etc. were among the top recruiters.
