Electrical Engineering is a field with many scopes, including the scope for M. Tech in the future, getting a chance to prepare for Gate, and learning the core dynamics of Engineering. This factor led me to choose this stream in the first place. Also, in B.P. Poddar, in the stream of Electrical Engineering, you will find a gender ratio of 7 :3 (Female: Male) for teachers and 85 % of male students enrolled in the stream. The faculty is very supportive, starting from labs to theory classes. Also, you will find one teacher or the other to help you whenever you need it. Our teachers are a minimum of B.Tech qualified and range up to Ph.D. There is the inclusion of the Smart Teaching method, using both the traditional blackboard, with the white smart board. We are even encouraged to present topics in a ppt as a part of our examination to find our speaking and presenting skills. Overall, there is four 25 marks examination, followed by a semester exam of 70 marks.
Read Full ReviewCurrently, I am in my last semester so it's the best time to write a review. To be very honest my first preference was CSE but my Wbjee rank was 17000 so I didn't get a seat in Cse which is why I took admission in IT. But trust me there is a 0% difference between CSE and IT in terms of curriculum, opportunity, and placement. In my department, there are 120 students(from the 2022 admission batch) in a batch, but in my time there were only 60 seats. Approx. faculty count : (cse 30, IT 15), check the bppimt's official website for exact details about numbers and qualifications.
Read Full ReviewTheory: We have to take 4 internal exams. For internal exams, FM is 25 and the duration: is 50 mins. And the end sem theory exam's FM is 70 & 5 marks for attendance. Practical: We have to take 2 internal exams. For internal exams, FM is 40 and duration: 1hr 30mins. And the end sem practical exam's FM is 60. If a student studies properly then it isn't so difficult to pass those exams. Undoubtedly I can say that every faculty members are so experienced.
Read Full ReviewI choose I.T. because I was always the coder guy from my school days only. So since I had previous knowledge from ICSE/ISC school I chose it. Overall faculty is well-educated PHDs and the student ratio is like 70:30 (boys: girls). Teachers follow the makaut prescribed structure. Provide support materials for help. Term exams were as per makaut system. 4 CAs, and 2 PCAs. It is easy to pass it if you study well before exams.
