So I like some branches out of which electrical was the one, but however, I got this branch in the JOSAA counselling. And the faculties are not very much support if you are planning to prepare for some other exams, but with respect to the subjects (course subjects), faculties will help you, not all the faculty but there will be some faculty who will help you. Student ratio: the student ratio of my department is more towards the boy side, i.e. if a class has 40 boys then there would be 20 girls. For each year there will be 2 semesters, and each semester has mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. So overall in a year, you will have two mid-sem and two end-sem. And preparation, if I would tell you, is very easy if you even sincerely study just two-three days before the exam you can easily score a very good score.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen this course because from this course I can ho for different career path. If you are in Electrical Engineering department then you can go for placement in core as well as IT companies and I think this is a very plus point. All the faculties here are very educated and their teaching style is also very nice. In a particular semester there are 2 exams: midterm and end term. And if you study well you can get a very good marks.
Read Full ReviewBecause in today's time civil engineering is in demand and much construction work is going by the government. Government makes poos roads, homes railway tracks, etc., College teachers are very good and comparative in nature and the students are also good. The faculty ratio is 1:60. All the faculties are Ph.D. Holders.
Read Full ReviewI chose the course because it is beneficial to be in the circuital branches as far as the placements are concerned. The faculties are good and supportive. There will be mid-term and end term examinations in a single semester and I don't think passing them is a big task... You can do that easily.
Read Full ReviewI chose mechanical because I was interested in automobiles and machines. At that time faculty-student ratio was around 4:1 All the faculties are highly qualified and very helpful, and they chose mechanical because I was also very interested in the teaching methods. The schedule has been perfectly maintained.
Read Full ReviewI have to choose chemical engineering for the job variation of the field like there are many jobs available in the chemical engineering field. Per faculty, there are almost 5 students. I am in 2nd year so I don't know all the faculty members. But all of them are helpful. Almost all faculty member has their Ph.D. degree. The semesters are held in 4 months or 3.5 months. Depending upon the semesters. And it is not too difficult to pass the exams if you follow the lectures and listen carefully.
Read Full ReviewThe faculty is average with a good knowledge of subjects. girls and boys are present in a fixed ratio as it's decided by the government around 30:70. faculty and teaching methods are average. mid-term and end-term exams are conducted each semester and it's not much difficult to score here.
Read Full ReviewSee I chose electronics and instrumentation because it is the best branch I could ever get with this rank because the branch is a specified branch of electrical engineering and people mainly from south India come to opt for this branch also this branch is unique because only 3-4 nits are having this branch so yes I'm glad that I've chosen this course. In my branch ratio is also good like a 3:5 ratio of girls to boys. The faculties are very friendly and very much educated they all have done their Ph.D. and have great knowledge of this branch. In the semester we have two exams one is mid-semester and the other is at the end-semester. The end semester carries 50% of the marks.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course as I got this in csab round and I think rather than go to any private college I prefer the national institute of technology Agartala for my B.Tech in chemical engineering. Here I can learn to code and enhance my skills as well along with my B.Tech in chemical engineering. In the chemical engineering faculty: the student ratio is 1:20-30. I think the professors are highly qualified enough to teach us. Our lecture is in English but sir also explains in Hindi sometimes. As it is the national institute of technology exams are mostly on time and not much difficult to pass if you attend all lectures.
