How is NIT Srinagar in comparison to NIT Silchar and NIT Agartala for a student from Delhi-NCR?
Posted On - Apr 13, 2021One of my friends from Delhi is pursuing MTech from NIT Silchar. He claims it to be the best college in the North East at least for North Indians. However, the quality of food served is not very good and there are many varieties of veg food around the campus. The campus life is vibrant but it's better to go for other NITs in the North. NIT Silchar is a decent choice if you are getting CSE, ECE or Mechanical else go for CSE in NIT Agartala or NIT Srinagar. Also, if your goal is to pursue higher studies, then go for NIT Agartala as it has better connectivity from Delhi, the hub of coaching institutes.
NIT Srinagar is good and if it is discussed in the North East, it is the most excellent. The infrastructure is quite good and the college administration is focused enough to give proper resources to each of its students for their appropriate development.
The campus is approximately 375 acres, with green lushes all around. Faculty members are also outstanding and friendly. Besides, placement statistics are really rising every year, which is good for this institute.

NIT Srinagar is growing at an excellent pace, and it will reach the top level shortly. It would be a renowned institute in India. Thereby, you need not to take admission in the North East NITs by thinking NIT Srinagar as a bad institute.
