Before completing the final semester exams they can attend the placements in this university which has 100+ industry tie-ups, 1500+ offers for the last 3 years, and also provide 100% placement assistance. My plans after getting my degree are to join a reputed company.

Internships Opportunities:

The students have to participate in the conference at the international level in Chennai, Bangalore, etc. Tejas network (vLAN-based switching network) conducted by the ECE department. The aircraft project was held by the aeronautics department.

PMU is similar to other deemed-to-be universities. It offers really good programs and their Alumni network spreads far and wide. UGC issues orders every now and then and the intake of students is based on the principle of social justice i.eMerit and students from different backgrounds join in. There is both an advantage and a few disadvantages, which I am listing below:

Advantages: The Atmosphere is student friendly with a need based curriculum for students.

Disadvantages: The administrator resides at Chennai and you will face issues with speedy resolution and the placement needs to be pushed.

This public trust institute also takes care of social needs, through the ‘Periyar Pura’ scheme shared by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for women and the marginalised sections of the society.
