Magna College of Engineering, a Christian minority engineering college, was established in 1999 by Mr. J. Devadas Nayagam. It is managed by the JDN Educational Trust. It aims to provide a healthy environment of learning which would support discovery and dissemination of knowledge among the members. It is located in Magaral, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It offers under graduate and post graduate engineering courses.

- The College provides separate hostels for boys and girls
- The Girl’s hostel is a double storied building of unique layout. The ground floor has a central mess hall which can accommodate 150 students at a time
