PMIST offers various UG, PG and research programmes. Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) accepts students for the B. Arch. program based on the NATA exam score and +2 level marks i.e. appearing for the entrance is compulsory. Total marks calculated would include 50% of NATA score and 50% of +2 marks. With NATA Entrance you can apply for B. Arch. in NATA member universities.

NATA is an online computer based test for which you need to register separately.

You can appear for the NATA exam a maximum of five times within two years from the date of first attempt. The best score out of the five would be chosen and would be valid till 2years from the date of first attempt.

PMIST B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

B. Arch. is a 5 year undergraduate program the total number of seats available are 60. The eligibility criteria of the program is mentioned below. Candidates must fulfil any of the following eligibility requirements to get admission in B. Arch. Program.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate mark
• Candidates must have International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as the subject of examination at the 10+2 level.
• You must have qualified the NATA exam with minimum 40% marks.

PMIST B.Arch Selection Process

Candidates are selected on the basis of the marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent and Architecture Aptitude Test (NATA)

The following shall be given weightage: nbsp;

• Qualifying Examination i.e. 10+2 (or) 10+3 years Diploma recognised by the Central/ State Government (or) IB Diploma and/or other test (50% of Marks obtained in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Biology in case of other state students)
• Architecture aptitude test (NATA)

The merit list is prepared considering both the parameters mentioned above.

Application Process

1. Candidates must visit the following link: http://pmu.edu/UG_PG_Application.aspx in order to download the application form and the admission prospectus.
2. Fill in the application form with complete details carefully.
3. Choose to pay the application fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PwD) through DD drawn in favour of “The registrar, PMIST” payable at Thanjavur or online.
4. Submit the application form and keep the printed copy of the submitted application form.
