University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) offers admission to the various UG, PG, and Doctoral programs. Additionally, Rajasthan University also offers Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses. UNIRAJ UG admissions are solely based on merit in the qualifying examination. The university accepts GATE, PIM MAT/CAT /CMAT scores for admission to the M.Tech and MBA programs respectively. Admission to other PG courses is based on the scores in the URAT PG entrance exam.

University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) conducts MPAT entrance exam for admission to the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs. Candidates who qualify the same are called for a personal interview for the final selection. Final admissions to the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs are offered on the basis of the merit list released by the university. Application forms for UNIRAJ Courses are usually released in the month of May or June on its official website. Candidates can apply online for various courses by paying an application fee.

UNIRAJ UG Eligibility criteria

Admission to bachelor of arts With at least 48% in the aggregate of 50% in the subject of post graduation or bachelor or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

UNIRAJ UG Selection Criteria

The candidate who secure some minimum 50% marks in Arts fine arts and Social Sciences and 55% marks in the case of faculties of Science and Commerce in the gate at the first year examination will be recognised by the University and shall be eligible for admission as a regular student to the next higher class of the same course of study.
Admission to subject English French, German, Hindi, biology, Sanskrit, Spanish, Urdu, Business, Administration, library and infrastructure science, physical education, dramatics, drawing and painting, fine arts, visual arts, music law, botany, chemistry, Geography, geology, Mathematics, Physics, psychology, statistics, zoology, Anthropology, economics, history, political science, public administration, sociology, will be done on the basis of URATPG entrance test.
Admission is granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Admission into the Law program is granted on the basis of entrance examination, namely - RULET and ULET.

The University of Rajasthan also offers admission to PG courses such as M.A, MBA, MJMC, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Tech, etc. These courses come with different specializations related to Arts, Language, and Science. UNIRAJ PG Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for master in commerce will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.
Admission to MBA will be done on the basis of 50% marks minimum in aggregate.

UNIRAJ PG Selection Criteria

Admission into the M.A and M.Sc programme is granted on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University, namely - URATPG. Furthermore, weightage is also given to the past academic performance.
Admission into the PG programme is granted on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the university, namely - URATPG for courses like M.Com, MCA, MJMC.
Admission into the M.Tech is granted on the basis of GATE entrance examination and on the basis of merit.
Admission into the MBA programme is granted on the basis of PIM MAT/CAT /CMAT entrance examination.
Admission to the PG process will be done on the basis of entrance test and on merit basis of examination. The final result of a candidate out of 100 shall be calculated by giving a weightage of 70 marks obtained in the entrance test and weightage of 30 to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
There shall be 70 objective type questions carrying one mark each for each subject which includes 60 questions of the related subject and 10 questions on reasoning and logic.

The university also offers admission to various PG Diploma & Post PG Diploma courses under its PG departments. The duration of diploma courses is 1 year and comes with all major and minor specializations. The following table is given below:

UNIRAJ PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for post graduate diploma will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

UNIRAJ PG Diploma Selection Criteria

For Post Diploma Courses, selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree and for PG Diploma programs, score in URATPG Entrance and marks in the qualifying degree will be considered.
Admissions into the Post PG Diploma courses are granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

UNIRAJ M.Phil and Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Phd/M.Phil will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

UNIRAJ M.Phil/Ph.D Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Phil courses is done on the basis of marks scored in UNIRAJ MPAT, conducted by the university. For Ph.D programmes, admission is done in two phases, Phase I and Phase II.
Phase I is for the candidates who will be exempted from UNIRAJ MPAT and Phase II is for the candidates who will be selected through UNIRAJ MPAT in case of remaining seats in the respective subject after the completion of Phase I.

Ques. What is the admission process of Phd. and MPhil in UNIRAJ ?

Ans. The admission process for Phd. and MPhil is granted on the basis of entrance exams conducted by the university. The name of the entrance test is Uniraj MPAT. The admission is done in two parts phase 1 and phase 2.

Ques. What are the documents required at the time of admission in UNIRAJ ?

Ans. Secondary School marksheet, Higher Secondary School marksheet, undergraduate degree marksheet, caste certificate (if applicable), certificate related to achievement.

All these documents should be submitted after the declaration of the result of the URATPG entrance exam test.

Ans. The fees for admission or readmission is 90 Rs for both postgraduate and undergraduate programs other than Self Financing Courses.And for Ph.d and M.Phil admission Test it is 1145(for exempted candidates) & 2805 for other students respectively. And the admission fee to M.Phil programme is 65.

Ans. UNIRAJ provides admissions to the PG courses such as M.A., M.Com. & M.Sc. on the basis of objective type test (70% weightage) and academic record of qualifying examination (30% weightage).

Ques. What is the entrance examination pattern of UNIRAJ

Ans. The entrance examination pattern of UNIRAJ is mentioned below:

The duration of each paper will be 75 minutes.
Each paper will contain 70 questions.
There will be 60 questions on the concerned subject and 10 questions on general awareness.
For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded whereas there will be no negative marking done for incorrect answers.

The amanuensis must not have qualified more than 10+2.

Good college for students

Remarks:

When I was searching for a College after passing my 12 exams in commerce I took the opportunity to study commerce College affiliated with the University of Rajasthan the college passes the cut-off list in two sections first morning shift and the second evening shift and my shift was in the evening because I had a percentage of like evening shift so that's why I was studying in regular shift but evening session although all over is very good especially teachers and ambience in College are perfectly good so I recommend if you are looking for any College for b.com just go for Uniraj commerce College and I promise you will never get upset on your decision

My 3 year experience in " ST Joseph TT College"

Remarks:

There is an entrance exam for this course, it is called the PTET exam. Everybody who Passed the 12th is eligible for this entrance exam. The Entrance Exam result is Cut Off based. Application fees are nearly 400 and it date also nearly July month.

One of my friends studied at Rajasthan University. Let me share some of the things he used to do to prepare for scoring good marks.

Though the question pattern has changed, it is necessary to go through the previous year’s question papers.
It is quite impossible to read every book thoroughly, that is why learning from the previous year’s question papers will be beneficial.
For practicals start practicing from the unit of the book which you find comparatively easier and interesting.
Try and pay attention to every lecture being conducted in the classes.
For the 20 marks questions, try writing 7-8 pages, as it will fetch you better marks.
Make sure you use points instead of paragraphs.

Finally, try to remain calm in stressful situations. Confidently answer your questions. While writing, do not repeat the same things over and over, maintain a tidy answer sheet and you will be good to go.
