University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) offers admission to the various UG, PG, and Doctoral programs. Additionally, Rajasthan University also offers Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses. UNIRAJ UG admissions are solely based on merit in the qualifying examination. The university accepts GATE, PIM MAT/CAT /CMAT scores for admission to the M.Tech and MBA programs respectively. Admission to bachelor of arts With at least 48% in the aggregate of 50% in the subject of post graduation or bachelor or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.
UNIRAJ UG Selection Criteria
- The candidate who secure some minimum 50% marks in Arts fine arts and Social Sciences and 55% marks in the case of faculties of Science and Commerce in the gate at the first year examination will be recognised by the University and shall be eligible for admission as a regular student to the next higher class of the same course of study.

UNIRAJ PG Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility criteria for master in commerce will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.
- Admission to MBA will be done on the basis of 50% marks minimum in aggregate.
UNIRAJ PG Selection Criteria
- Admission into the M.A and M.Sc programme is granted on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University, namely - URATPG. Furthermore, weightage is also given to the past academic performance.
- Admission into the PG programme is granted on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the university, namely - URATPG for courses like M.Com, MCA, MJMC.
- Admission into the M.Tech is granted on the basis of GATE entrance examination and on the basis of merit.
- Admission into the MBA programme is granted on the basis of PIM MAT/CAT /CMAT entrance examination.
- Admission to the PG process will be done on the basis of entrance test and on merit basis of examination. The final result of a candidate out of 100 shall be calculated by giving a weightage of 70 marks obtained in the entrance test and weightage of 30 to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- There shall be 70 objective type questions carrying one mark each for each subject which includes 60 questions of the related subject and 10 questions on reasoning and logic.

UNIRAJ M.Phil/Ph.D Selection Criteria

The admission is given through an exam named RULET. A good score would be between 100-120 (for the general category) out of 150 marks. You need to fill out an online application and after 10 days or so cutoff is updated on the official website. And time slots are being given for cutoff and categories and you need to reach the venue. Then there'll be students to help you out through the whole process and documentation. I haven't applied for a reservation, but if you're eligible for EWS do make that certificate. There can be a ton of things done for that but mostly more convenient timing would be good

At the time of my admission, there was not any entrance exam for admission. The only criteria for admission were the cut-off list. The cut-off list means how much percentage you scored on the 12th board. And there was a different cut-off rate for different types of the cast. At the time of Admission, General Category's cut-off rate went to 78 %. And I scored 83 %. So I got admission to that college. Application forms, fees and dates all are available on the university site https://www.uniraj.ac.in. I'm from the general category, so I don't have any reservation benefits. But SC, ST, and OBC students can take benefits. Any Improvements you want to see in the admission process : I want that all processes should be online.

You should be a bachelor's in science having mathematics or statistics as the core subject in bachelor. The University of Rajasthan conducts entrance exams for masters in various subjects every year with minimal fees of 200. The application form is made available online around June every year and the exam for the same is conducted in August. Reservation is given to the category students including obc, EWS St, sc. Since it is an objective type of paper, I would like to suggest that it should be in cbt form rather than pen and paper.

Though the question pattern has changed, it is necessary to go through the previous year’s question papers.

For practicals start practicing from the unit of the book which you find comparatively easier and interesting.
Try and pay attention to every lecture being conducted in the classes.
For the 20 marks questions, try writing 7-8 pages, as it will fetch you better marks.
Make sure you use points instead of paragraphs.
Finally, try to remain calm in stressful situations. Confidently answer your questions. While writing, do not repeat the same things over and over, maintain a tidy answer sheet and you will be good to go.
