LPU BPT admission 2024 is open now. Admission to BPT at LPU will be done through the LPUNEST entrance examination followed by a counseling process. LPU BPT Course

BPT is a Bachelor of Physiotherapy program approved by IAP (Indian Association of Physiotherapists). The duration of the program is 4.5 years which is 9 semesters. LPU BPT course includes International Exposure options. The total number of seats available for this program is 90. Some of the course highlights are:

In the first-year coursework, three will be two semesters of more than 15 courses including laboratories.
After the first and the second year, the college will include seminars on diagnostics.
In the final year, there will be an internship program of 6 months as an autumn semester.
Students get the opportunity to practice in the case of client management, workplace management, administrative skills, documentation, entrepreneurship, ethics, liability, negligence, therapeutic skills, career progress, and self-identity.
The university also offers elective courses. Students can choose the elective course as per their preferences.

LPU BPT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or equivalent subjects with an aggregate of 60% marks.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
There will be a relaxation of 5 per cent to the North East States and Sikkim candidates/Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
Candidates must have also passed the LPUNEST Entrance exam conducted by the university.

LPU BPT Selection Criteria

Lovely Professional University (LPU) follows the Merit-based selection criteria for the BPT Course. Candidates who are eligible for the course are required to appear for the LPUNEST entrance exam. The university also accepts CUET scores to offer admission to BPT.

LPU BPT Application Process

Candidates need to visit the official website of the university and follow these steps to apply for BPT:

Step 1: Register

Visit the official website of the LPU and register through the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPU ADMIT.
Click the “Apply Now” tab and fill in the basic details like name, email, phone no, gender and password.
Finally, log in to the site with the username and password that you have created.

Step 2: Apply for LPUNEST

LPUNEST is an online eligibility/scholarship test through which the students will be selected for admission and scholarships.
Candidates are required to deposit the test fee.
The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
After that, fill out the application form for LPUNEST.

Step 3: Application form

Fill out the form with the required details
Select the BPT program from the available course list
Pay the first payment of Rs 10,000. This fee includes the application fee of Rs 500 and the rest is the program fee for the first sem). After that, the university will provide the prospectus at your given address and a unique provisional registration number at your registered email ID.
Upload all the documents that are required.
Submit the balance fee within the due date.

Step 4: Exam slot booking

Students can book their preferred exam slot based on their date, time, and venue.

Lovely Professional University is pretty good in all aspects such as academics, infrastructure, faculty, ranking, etc.

LPU has a brilliant faculty base. Most of the faculty members are alumni of IITs, IIMs, NITs, etc.
The institute has a good placement record. LPU placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 42 LPA. Major MNCs like Godrej Consumer, CEAT, Allianz, Hindustan Unilever, etc. visit the campus placement.
LPU has a good ecosystem for entrepreneurship as well. If you have a good idea, you can get seed funding from the institute.
All basic amenities are available on campus. You won’t need to go out to get anything. The campus has a central library, a shopping mall, indoor sports facilities, public and private sector banks, ATMs, etc.

LPU is one of the best private universities in the country. You can benefit a lot from attending the institute.

No, these universities almost have zero credibility. You have to realize the fact that the main goal of these big universities is to make money.

I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends who studied at these universities. Following are lesser-known facts about these universities:

During the admission, you will be told about the institute and will be assured about top-class facilities including AC in your classrooms. When you get allured in, you will face reality. Your expectations will be barely met.
Most of the teaching faculties are newly appointed with most of them having no experience in teaching at all. Most of them will vanish after that semester and again, new faculties are appointed.
Attendance criteria is very strict and teachers' way to control students. Even if you are five minutes late to the class, talking in class, or unable to answer a question in class, you are marked absent.
There is no particular format for allotting the internal assessment or Semester end exam marks. If teachers are not that fond of you, you are definitely going to have a tough time here.
Making students reappear in their exams is a new scheme of making money for these institutes. Whenever the results are out, around 80% of the class is going to fail in one or more papers. To reappear for one paper, you have to pay 5-8K.
Fee demand is very high and ROI is very low, due to which the number of students drop out every year.
You will be judged in every aspect, based on what you are wearing, that too if you are a girl. You will be sent back to hostels.

Overall it's a no-brainer to avoid attending these institutes. Paying so much when you are getting so little in return, makes literally no sense at all. So think twice before opting for any of these institutes.

Compared to Amity Noida, LPU is better in terms of placements, infrastructure, and campus life. Each year more than 500+ national and international companies visit LPU placements. Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon are some of the major recruiters. During the 2021 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was INR 42 LPA.

Firstly, if you haven’t been able to get into Lovely Professional University, don’t get discouraged. Getting into IIMs is also a privilege. You can land decent jobs even as an IIM graduate. So just settle for the best IIM and achieve your goals.

But if you still think with one more chance you can ace the entrance exam of LPU, then take a dropout year and prepare well for it. It will be a year full of struggles but you will have to deal with it with the right spirit. Who knows you might actually get into LPA this time and fulfill your dream.

Uttar Pradesh Technical University:

Pros-

Extremely affordable. It's a government university so the only relaxation is fees.
Better placement opportunities

Cons-

Education tactics adopted are old school.
The structure of exams is below average
Bad internet facilities
The compulsory attendance rules do not let you conduct research.

Lovely Professional University:

Pros-

A large-scale advertisement which is not of much use to an engineer
Extensive international collaborations

Placements are usually off-campus. This means they are dependent on your hard work and not on the university.

Chandigarh University is the better choice among these two.

CU has a great pool of teachers. The faculties are well-experienced. You can also ask for their help any time you need it.
The management on campus is great. It is one of the safest campuses in North India. Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus.
Chandigarh University Placement - CU is conducting its 2022 placement drive. More than 757 recruiters have made around 7500 placement offers. The highest CTC offered this year is 52.11 LPA.

But CU has a strict 75% attendance policy. You will need to attend classes regularly, as there is no poxy policy.
