Lovely Professional University offers a 3-year full-time BBA program. The course is divided into 6 semesters. LPU also offers BBA (Lateral), BBA (Hons.), and Integrated BBA+MBA courses. LPU BBA Eligibility Criteria

BBA (Regular): Passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks with English subject or equivalent (5% relaxation to North-East states/ Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants), subject to qualifying to LPUNEST.

BBA (Distance Education): Candidates applying for LPUDE BBA must have completed their 10+2 in the relevant discipline.

The details application process is given below:

LPU BBA Admission

Step 1: Register

Register on the LPU official admission portal with all the basic details required (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password).
After successful registration, you will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
Login to LPU ADMIT using your previously created username and password.

Step 2: Apply for LPUNEST

LPUNEST is an online entrance test conducted to offer admission to programs you are interested in. Admission to MBA is done based on performance in LPUNEST and Interviews.

Deposit the test fee:
The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
Fill out the test application form.

Step 3: Book the exam slot

Book the time slot as per your preferred date, time, and venue to appear in the test.
You can choose from the 200 cities in India where the test will be conducted.
Download the examination hall ticket.
Appear and qualify for the exam.

LPU BBA course has seen some decent placements throughout the years. In the placement drive of 2021-22, the highest salary package offered to a BBA (Hospitality & Tourism) student was INR 32 LPA. Lovely Professional University is pretty good in all aspects such as academics, infrastructure, faculty, ranking, etc. LPU has a brilliant faculty base. Most of the faculty members are alumni of IITs, IIMs, NITs, etc. The institute has a good placement record. LPU placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 42 LPA. Major MNCs like Godrej Consumer, CEAT, Allianz, Hindustan Unilever, etc. visit the campus placement. LPU has a good ecosystem for entrepreneurship as well. If you have a good idea, you can get seed funding from the institute. All basic amenities are available on campus. You won’t need to go out to get anything. The campus has a central library, a shopping mall, indoor sports facilities, public and private sector banks, ATMs, etc. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country. You can benefit a lot from attending the institute.

No, these universities almost have zero credibility. You have to realize the fact that the main goal of these big universities is to make money. I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends who studied at these universities. Following are lesser-known facts about these universities: During the admission, you will be told about the institute and will be assured about top-class facilities including AC in your classrooms. When you get allured in, you will face reality. Your expectations will be barely met. Most of the teaching faculties are newly appointed with most of them having no experience in teaching at all. Most of them will vanish after that semester and again, new faculties are appointed. Attendance criteria is very strict and teachers' way to control students. Even if you are five minutes late to the class, talking in class, or unable to answer a question in class, you are marked absent. There is no particular format for allotting the internal assessment or Semester end exam marks. If teachers are not that fond of you, you are definitely going to have a tough time here. Making students reappear in their exams is a new scheme of making money for these institutes. Whenever the results are out, around 80% of the class is going to fail in one or more papers. To reappear for one paper, you have to pay 5-8K. Fee demand is very high and ROI is very low, due to which the number of students drop out every year. You will be judged in every aspect, based on what you are wearing, that too if you are a girl. You will be sent back to hostels. Overall it's a no-brainer to avoid attending these institutes. Paying so much when you are getting so little in return, makes literally no sense at all. So think twice before opting for any of these institutes.

Chandigarh University is the better choice among these two. CU has a great pool of teachers. The faculties are well-experienced. You can also ask for their help any time you need it. The management on campus is great. It is one of the safest campuses in North India. Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus. Chandigarh University Placement - CU is conducting its 2022 placement drive. More than 757 recruiters have made around 7500 placement offers. The highest CTC offered this year is 52.11 LPA. But CU has a strict 75% attendance policy. You will need to attend classes regularly, as there is no poxy policy.

Both Vel Tech and LPU are reputed institutes. Choosing one of these two institutes depends upon whether you want to join in North India or South India. Placements are quite good for ECE, CSE, EEE, and Mechanical branches in Vel Tech. In 2020, the highest CTC offered in the placement drive was 10 LPA. Major recruiters that visited the placement drive were Infosys, Byjus, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. You should note that in India other than IITs, NITs, or BITS Pilani, the other engineering colleges don’t put that much effort to enhance the skills of the students. So, you will need to make effort by yourself irrespective of which institute you choose Ve Tech or LPU.
