Christ University BCA Course Highlights

Christ University BCA is available only through offline mode.
A candidate has to apply online and pay an application fee of INR 500 for admission.
Christ University charges INR 3.47 Lakhs for its BCA course.

Christ University BCA Eligibility Criteria

Criteria for eligibility for Admission to the BCA program at Christ University are different for Indian and International students.

For Indian students

Eligible students must be 12th Passed from CBSE/ ISC/State/NIOS/Karnataka PUC Boards/ from any other recognized board of India.
Relaxation has been given for students having 12th exams in March-May 2024 i.e. it may apply along with their Class 11 marks.

For International Students

They must apply according to AIU stipulations.
They should have 3 HL and 3SL with 24 credits (Students pursuing IB curriculum)
Applying students should have a minimum of 3A levels with grades not less than C (For students who are pursuing GCE/Edexcel)

Christ University BCA Admission Criteria

Admission to the Christ University BCA course will be done considering the Student’s performance in Entrance Test, Qualifying Examination, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview.

How to Apply for Christ University BCA?

Application is required to be submitted online on the official website of Christ University.
Fill in relevant details in the application and attach the required documents.
After that submit an application and pay the required fees of INR 500 (Non-refundable) through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking
In the end, after successful submission and fees payment, a nine-digit Application no. gets generated.
E-admit cards will be generated after the application process gets closed.

Documents Required

Following documents are required to be attached for applying online-

Scanned copy of 12th Class Passed statement of marks/ 10th or 11th (In case 12th Marks statement not available yet)
Recent passport size photographs of size (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) and photographs must be in formal dress with white background.

Christ University BCA Entrance Test

After online application, there will be an entrance test for students who wish to take admission to Christ University BCA. Dates for that entrance test would be notified on the website itself after the application process gets closed. This entrance test would be conducted in online mode itself.

This would be a test of 120 marks which will be divided into the below-given subjects:

Micro Presentation and Personal Interview

Notable points

Below are some points to be noted with regard to Fee structure-

First-year fees are required to be paid immediately after Admission confirmation.
Second and third-year fees are required to be paid before the Commencement of Final year exams of II and IV semesters.
Above fees are fixed for the course subject to nominal change by the University in respect to bearing any rising costs.

Having done some research on both the colleges, I have gathered some information which I am going to share with you. Hope this answers your question. Christ University Bangalore is a more experienced institute. It has the locational advantage being in Bangalore, which is the IT hub of India. A student of Christ University enjoys higher chances of being hired by IT MNC firms, after completing BBA. There is no exit option for the IPM course in IIM Indore once enrolled. In the current scenario, companies are showing preference to students who have a multi-disciplinary background. Pursuing a BBA and MBA with specializations will be a better option than pursuing a program for five years. Moreover, the average packages offered to the students who are pursuing IPM is less than that offered to the students who are pursuing PGDM. Categories Christ University Bangalore Course Fee 5 lakhs Highest CTC 8 LPA Average CTC 3.56 LPA Recruiting Companies Tech Mahindra, Accenture, IBM, Dell, etc. The final two years of IPM are PGDM. The reason for this is that IPM students have to take IPMAT and for PGDM, they will have to take CAT. CAT is much more difficult than the former. In addition to that, IPM is a new course. So it is really not worth the enormous amount of money. In Christ University, you will know the extent of its brand value.
