Aspirants seeking admission to 3 Years Full-Time MCA Program must have completed Graduation from the recognised Institute or University.
Bangalore University MCA admission 2023 will begin soon. To be eligible for admission, students must pass a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Admission is based on merit in Karnataka PGCET followed by counselling conducted by the university. Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam is expected to be held in the 3rd week of July 2023.

Admission to MCA at Bangalore University is based on scores obtained in the Karnataka PGCET examination. Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be called for counselling for seat allocation.

Bangalore University offers MCA Course in full time mode for 3 years in six semesters, each year is divided into 2 semesters. There are Internal Assessment marks which will be decided for each of the theory subjects by conducting two tests, the duration is 60 min from the cover over the span of a semester. A Seminar will be conducted by the university in the third year and the same will be evaluated for internal assessment along with the two tests.
The Internal Assessment (B) marks in Practical subjects is decided by the laboratory. The Internal Assessment marks for project work is based on the dissertation Seminar. Students should secure 40% marks to pass the University Exam in Theory, Practical & Project Work and should score 50% marks in aggregate including Internal Assessment marks obtained in all subjects put together. Each of the internal assessments comprises 30 marks and the written exam concludes 70 marks.

To get your degree certificate, you have to visit BU, the Janana Barathi campus, near Kengeri. Go to the Parikhsha Bhavan, which is near the administrative block.
