Bangalore University admission 2023 will start soon for all UG and PG programs. Admission to the majority of Bangalore University courses is granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Bangalore university also accepts national and state-level entrance examination scores such as KCET, Karnataka PGCET, GATE, UGC NET/ CSIR NET for admission to the various courses. Bangalore university releases omnibus merit list for admission to the PG programs. It is a temporary merit list released by Bangalore University to help students become acquainted with the process and raise objections in case of any discrepancies in their details.

Bangalore University offers full-time B.Sc, BCA, BA, BFA, BVA, BSW, LLB, B.Com, B.Sc+M.Sc, B.Lib.Sc, BBM, BHM courses in various specializations at UG level. The 10+2 level or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate is the eligibility criteria for admission.

Candidates must pass 10+2 level with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for reservation categories) in aggregate with relevant subjects.

Bangalore University omnibus merit list is released for admission to the PG programs. The omnibus list is the same as the provisional list. It is a temporary merit list that is released before the final merit list. It contains information regarding the course, college, or seat the applicant can expect in the final merit list. After the omnibus merit list is released, candidates can raise objections in case of any discrepancies in their details.

Bangalore University offers full-time Ph.D. courses in different specializations. These courses are offered in all the departments of the university. The minimum eligibility criteria is a Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH) in aggregate. Admission is based on the Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by the university followed by an interview.
UGC NET/ CSIR-NET/ JRF Test/ SLET/ SET/ GATE/ Recognised young researchers by DST, UGC, CSIR, AICTE, etc. and M.Phil. degree holders are exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test. Such candidates have to appear in the interview round conducted by the university.
