The candidates should possess the following qualifications for registration to 'Vidya Varidhi' (Ph.D.).

     1- Acharya Degree from the Vidyapeetha with at least 55 % of Marks.

          or
          Acharya or Sikshyacharya in Sikshya Shastra, Ancient Indian Culture and History, Indian Religion and Philosophy, Literature or equivalent with minimum of 55% Marks.
     2- For registration to 'Vidya Vridhi' Curriculum candidates should qualify the written entrance examination held by the Vidyapeeth itself or should qualify NET exam. Conducted by University Grants Commission.

     3- Script of the question paper will be Sanskrit.

     4-  Lecturers of this Vidyapeeth having more than 5 years teaching experience and who have passed M.A/ Acharya with minimum of 50% Marks, if desire for registration to 'Vidya Varidhi' curriculum may be permitted for registration by the recommendation of Departmental Research Committee without appearing for the written entrance examination and interview.
