SPA Delhi B.Arch Admission 2023
School of Planning and Architecture Delhi offers a five years' full-time B.Arch course under undergraduate education programs. The course students' capacity is 122. The B.Arch course at SPA Delhi is approved by the Council of Architecture.
Eligibility
- For applying to the B.Arch program at SPA Delhi, candidates must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
- Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects in 10+2 examinations.
- Candidates who have qualified 10+3 Diploma course with Mathematics as the main subject are eligible to apply for the B.Arch program.
- He/she must have obtained at least 50% in a Diploma course.
- For admission to SPA Delhi B.Arch, candidates must have applied for JEE Main examination.

SPA Delhi offers a B.Plan course under undergraduate education programs with a capacity of 35 students intakes. B. Plan program is a 4 year-long full-time course.

- For applying to the B.Arch program at SPA Delhi, candidates must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.

SPA Delhi provides a Master of Architecture course under postgraduate programs. The course duration is 2 years and the student's intakes are 46 in total. M.Arch at SPA Delhi has 2 specializations with 263 students capacity in each specialization.

- For applying to the M.Arch program, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in B.Arch examinations.

School of Planning and Architecture Delhi offers scholarships programs in two criteria:

Scholarship Criteria 1:
Regarding merit basis, their eligibility terms and conditions, the ministry of social justice, and ministry of tribal affairs, Govt. of India have granted ten scholarships for scheduled caste and five for scheduled tribe caste to underclassmen courses of school. There are conditions.
The students of the undergraduate course of the school, concerned student’s parents should not have more than 4.50 lac income from any source.
Under the DBT [Direct Benefit Transfer] the amount of scholarship is to pay out directly to the concerned student
Scholarship Criteria 2:
Deserving students of graduate and undergraduate will get one-time financial assistance for the student aid fund on the merit basis for meeting their premature expenditure this application ordinary application welcomed in August and January months of the year.
The minimum and the maximum amount of fixed i.e. minimum amount is 10000 and the maximum amount is 25000 on the term laid down by the school

However, if you are on the lookout for quality education that will match your requirement to pursue a career in architecture, then SPA is a very good option. The only drawback is that there are no Institute placements and you need to have a good portfolio or Architectural background to get a good job.
If you are after placements, IIT Kharagpur and Roorkee can guarantee you very good packages, sometimes even in crores. The issue with this option is that you will have to first clear JEE Advanced and then AAT, after which only you can get admission.
