- The Industrial production engineering department has some of the best and most experienced professors in the entire northeast.
- Teachers are qualified enough and are very helpful regarding any matter like academics, internship as well as for self development.
- We have a yearly college fest like PYROKINESIS, where we see many events like band shows, singing competition, bodybuilding competition, dance event, arts.
Dislikes
- Teachers in our college are helpful, but some senior teachers are very much arrogant and don't listen to students and show their power.
- It doesn't make the students industry ready unless the students learn by themselves.
- Very less number of students actually get placed in good companies to be very honest.
Remarks :
Students are admitted to the B.E./B.Tech. programs depending on their eligibility as under: Students seeking admission after Higher Secondary Examination of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or its equivalent are admitted through a Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Assam. The Government of Assam also conducts a Lateral Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry which can be opted after completion of the 3-year Polytechnic Diploma from the state of Assam for getting admitted to the B.E./B.Tech. programs in 3rd semester.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The hostel accommodation providing the students some of the best rooms to spend their 4 years in Faculties of assam engineering college is to excellent for this post The campus life in Aec is one of the best life. The hostel life of AEC is one of the best life I like the availability of teachers and most of the teachers are graduated from IIT's sob they have a very good teaching experience Most of them are perfect in their field of work and are ready to help you in your studies. The College conducts very extra co curricular activities and sports events and Pyrokinesis is one of the best events
Internships Opportunities :

The program takes place in July and provides students with an understanding of control and signal processing, embedded system design, and circuit design and simulation. It also includes a mini project to give students practical experience. Placement AEC also offers placement opportunities, with an average package of INR 40,000 per month and a highest package of INR 24 lac per year. Placements: Overall placement goes up to 70% of total students. It's quite good. PSUs like Vedanta, Oil India Limited, NRL, Petrochemical Company, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, HUL, Dabur, Teach Education Company, and others have been increasing placement every year.At Assam Engineering College, the average package is INR 6 LPA. It is a bit underrated college. Placements: Around 60% to 70% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by PSUs is 16 LPA to 22 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College admission fees we paid 17000, and hostel fees we paid 16000, there many opportunities, Sports, dancing, singing etc. At Assam Engineering College, the average package is INR 6 LPA.The total marks allotted to the Assam CEE exam are 480. Out of this, a score of 320 and above is typically considered good whereas a score of 340+ is considered very good . With a score in this range, candidates are likely to be ranked between 1 and 100.
Campus Life :
Pyrokinesis is the annual national level cultural festival of Assam Engineering College.there are a lot of club in AEC. The college has club of almost all the aspects. Depending on your interest, you have to join the clubs and do workshop and get learned. Hostel Facilities :
Elegantly designed and surrounded by lawns and flower beds, each hostel is divided into a number of blocks and provides residential facilities to undergraduates from all across the state of Assam. There are presently seven boy’s and one girl’s residential complex. All the eight hostels on the campus offer well ventilated, comfortable rooms available on single or double/multi sharing basis. Each hostel has a fully furnished Common Room attached to it that provides moment of leisure as well as a glimpse of laurels earned by the boarders. Apart from it, the hostels boast of a Table-Tennis room, a fully-equipped Gymnasium, 24/7 wifi network with internet access and a spacious Dining-Hall which is maintained hygienically for students to enjoy their meals. The hostels have a cooperative mess that is managed by the boarders themselves.
