- I liked the campus in our college as it mainly focused environmental surroundings
- The teachers are good in their field which is good for the college
- The hostel facilities are good and its upto 8 hostels
Dislikes
- Some teachers in AEC uses only Assamese on thie lectures which is quiet difficult for students coming from other state
- Wild animals used are currently present in our college
- Their is no security guard in the main gate of AEC
Remarks :
The reason i chose this college was because of its reputation and core faculties present. I had cracked JEE and applied to many college including NIT's but i got allotted in mizoram university, Aizawl. The admission was through CSAB-special. The admission amount was paid but the seat got cancelled as their was an eligibility criteria(its been almost a year and didn't got my refund back ie ?40k) The admission process in my college were simple as i got letter from technical office for joining my college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision was by the college as it provides the best teaching. The curriculum prepares the students in an effective manner as it is well organised and pushes the limit of the students. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method is some lack are present. The frequency and timing of exams along with difficult level is hard
Internships Opportunities :
The insternship in Assam engineering college is powered by different type of companies including tata company, mahindra comapany, Indian oil limited and many more companies etc. The projects in aec are sponsored by huge number.
Placement Experience :
The placement in Assam engineering college is very good. Student are trained for placement every year. Placement for students are eligible from 6th semester. The companiss include indian oil, mahindra company, tata company, chemical industry and many more etc. The highest package in Aec was offer around 16lpa.The percentage of getting placement in Aec is he should have to clear all backlogs. My plan are to focus on govt sector
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm a student of Assam Engineering College,Guwahati, Assam. In my college the fees structure are are comparatively mid-range. The year fees range from 25-35k and this amount is for year wise. The tuition fees in our college is approximately upto 17k including govt fees, the admission is around 18k , the lap fees are included in admission fees. The fees for all my batchmates were same though belonging from different categories. The scholarship provided are ishan udaay scholarship, girls scholarship and many more etc.
Campus Life :
Technically in AEC the festivals are enormously huge and its very fun and enjoyment are non stop. The so called pyro festival is held on February which last upto a week. The facilities of books are widely available in the library ranging from different categories. The facilities in each classroom provides sufficient technological equipments. The sports are active. Not to mention their are many clubs in aec
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility in aec is provided for both males and females. There are a total of 9 hostel in Assam Engineering College. The hostel room provides fans ,light and tables. The fooding are average but its good whn there is a function. The registration is quite simple and hostel is affordable depending on the no of students. The locality is Jalukbari Aec campus
Faculty :
The faculty in college are very good including teaching stuff and facilities. The teacher maintains friendly environment over the students. The faculty member of chemistry, there is one mam in lab and she's so good and approchable.There are class test of 3 and End sem examinations.

The placement at your college is strong, with about 80% of students getting placed in companies like Oil India, Bajaj, Amazon, Vedantu, and Byju's. As for my plans, i intend to take the GATE exam to deepen on my knowledge in my branch, mainly for research purposes,the students of 7th sem are eligible for the placements ,the highest package of our college was around 2500000 and the average package is around 500000.

Our college provides on campus placement. Our 7th semester students are eligible for on campus placement. More than 160 companies are visited every year. Average package offers 7 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm etc. are visited.

Placement Experience :
From 7th semester (4th year) students become eligible for campus placements Tata ,Tata motors ,Vedantu and IUCL are some of the companies that visited our college recently. The highest package in our college was 25lakhs per annum and the average package is 4.5lakhs per annum. 55-60% of students get placements every year. I am aiming for campus placements after getting the degree and also if not i will try for entrance exam such as Gate to pursue further studies.

The course curriculum is rigid and at times very diffuse. But if you enjoy it then it may be easy for you.The professors provide notes and ppts so its not that difficult to pass the exams. The real world application of the labs is very prominently seen

All big it companies visits the college like Google, Microsoft , Dell, ebuillent , JPMC , etc. Highest package is around 2.2 CR per annum , AVG is around 35 lpa. Profiles are SDE, QR , ML, AI etc 90% students get placed each year. My plan is to become an Ai ml engineer

Placements are very good infact placements is the highlight of our college . Anyone gets placements in 7th sem or sometimes even in 6th . A lot of companies hire from here like TCS, Infosys , Wipro etc.

Placement Experience :
From 7 semester the students are eligible for campus placement but in offcampus the student can apply for the interview from 5th sem onwards. The companies visites like tata, oild india, vedantu etc many big big companies visits the college every year in search of students in the college. The highest package taken this time is about 21 lpa from the oil comapang which is from the mechanical and the average is 10 lpa in CSE the highest package is 12 lpa this year from the it sector and the average is 6 lpa and the chemical got highest package of 15 lpa from the ongc wtih average of 7 lpa. Every year more then 75% student get placed in the various companies. After getting the degree i will do job on an private companies thats probably the it sector companies and after that i will start an startup bussiness for side bussiness

Placements are preety impressive in our campus. Students get to set in placements from 7th semester. The companies that visit in our college are some of them are Tech Mahindra,Tata ,IOCL they recruit 10-15 students every year from each dept from which they want they offer 7-15 lpa. And you can also prepare for cat exam or any other government exam.60 percent students get placed with a decent package. I am currently preparing for gate exam .i will go for further studies.
