Remarks :
I applied to jorhat engineering college and tezpur university and was confirmed admission in jorhat engineering college but due to some problem i was unable to join so i choose kaziranga university since it got 100% placement rate in engineering The admission process is easy and the cutoff is also very low 45% in pcm in 12 th and jee There is scholarship test for scholarship admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i am a car enthusiast and love to learn about machines and technology The circulum is prepared in such a way that you will be able to deal with real life problems like presentation projects internship and the course subjects are also well prepared There should be more practical knowledge by giving group projects like modelings etc The frequency and time of exams are good according to me
Internships Opportunities :
The internship programes starts from 1 st sem only first year online internships and 2-3-4 years physical internships The insternship companies is IBM and many other companies There are many project works some of our students had participation in design competition drone competition and autocad ets

Campus Life :
Karyonix and talent tantra are the annual fest on marsh - april of kaziranga university and many technical fest are held in 2 or 3 months There are 2 library and are very big there are seperate blocks for different department books and mostly all the required books are provided if any book you want we can request it and will be in library as fast as possible The faculties are PhD holders or m.tech graduate from iit and nits and are highly educated. There are smart boards for virtual learnings There are many clubs and sports grounds like basketball court badminton court football field cricket field etc there is music room where we can learn music drama room etc
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel faculties are good they provide security and keep the hostel clean and hygienic The mess is clean and hygienic and the food quality is average- good there is always variety of food The hostel fees for 4 seater is ?38000 3 seater is ?48000 2 seater is ?58000 2 seater AC is ?68000 There are 2 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel
Faculty :
The faculy to student ratio is good .the faculties are very friendly they treat us like their own children and are alawys ready to help in any difficulties in studies or any other problems There are many good faculties all are the best and highly qualified There are class test but mainly 3 exams 1 sessional 2 sessional and final exam The difficulty of the exam is midium since all proper notes are provided and it depends on you how you study the faculties are always ready to help. The course goes from biggeners level to higher level to become a good engineer

Placements in this College is good enough. The Training and placement cell of this college plays a major role in inviting companies , and conducting the campus placement. Students are eligible after 6 semester that is they can apply in 7th semester for the placement. Companies like Oil India Limited, ONGC, NRL, Bharat Petroleum, Amazon, BHEL, BARC, Star Cement, Tata Chemicals, Infosys, TVS, BYJU's, Aditya Birla Group, Vedanta, Burger, DELL, SONY, Havels, Tech Mahindra, Samsung Electronics, TCS, Bharat Electronics, etc and many more visited here. The highest package is 24 LPA and average is around 8 LPA. About 60% of the students get placed every year. My plan after degree is to do higher studies.

From 7th semester (4th year) students become eligible for campus placements Tata ,Tata motors ,Vedantu and IUCL are some of the companies that visited our college recently. The highest package in our college was 25lakhs per annum and the average package is 4.5lakhs per annum. 55-60% of students get placements every year. I am aiming for campus placements after getting the degree and also if not i will try for entrance exam such as Gate to pursue further studies.

From 7 semester the students are eligible for campus placement but in offcampus the student can apply for the interview from 5th sem onwards. The companies visites like tata, oild india, vedantu etc many big big companies visits the college every year in search of students in the college. The highest package taken this time is about 21 lpa from the oil comapang which is from the mechanical and the average is 10 lpa in CSE the highest package is 12 lpa this year from the it sector and the average is 6 lpa and the chemical got highest package of 15 lpa from the ongc wtih average of 7 lpa. Every year more then 75% student get placed in the various companies. After getting the degree i will do job on an private companies thats probably the it sector companies and after that i will start an startup bussiness for side bussiness

The placement in Assam engineering college is very good. Student are trained for placement every year. Placement for students are eligible from 6th semester. The companiss include indian oil, mahindra company, tata company, chemical industry and many more etc. The highest package in Aec was offer around 16lpa.The percentage of getting placement in Aec is he should have to clear all backlogs.
