- The quality of concept and topics in books are so impressive and amazing. They really care for the student to understand the concept as easily as possible.
- The initiative is so strong to let everyone be connected to studies even in these busy schedules and busy life. I'm really greatful that i got the chance to study under IGNOU.
- The affordability of courses is everything. Also the validation of courses under IGNOU is crazy as you have validation in outer countries for the countries. Also IGNOU gives you the chance to complete your course at any age you want as there's no lim
Dislikes
- Unavailability of the staff of IGNOU when the students need them the most. They don't even pick the call, doesn't matter how many times you call.
- It's really hard to be in contact with them instantly, as it takes days or even weeks for them to pick the damn call and talk. They just never answer the calls or e-mail
- The distribution system of study material is so poor that u can't even complain to anyone. It takes them almost a year to distribute the complete study material to student, as the system is weirdly slow and poor.
Remarks :
To be honest I didn't apply for any other college because I wasn't financially strong enough to buy those expensive courses. I tried to find some in budget but in vain, as there was none. I decided to join IGNOU for many reasons, a) i can afford the courses without taking a toll on my financial condition. B) i don't have to travel daily to class to take classes, i can study with my own sources, c) the system is quite good as it is a government university so it does have it's own advantages. I didn't get rejected from any college because i didn't apply for any cuz of financial reasons. The admission process for my university was pretty simple and strict. Same all document verification and id verification and all. It does took almost 2-3 months to get verified by university and eligible to study there. The eligibility is simple, verified board certificates of 10th and 12th. Marksheets verification and photocopies. Another id proofs. Everything strictly followed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose psychology for many reasons, 1 i am so curious to learn more and more about it. It always fascinates me how wonderful psychology world is! 2 Want to know how this mind system works and also the accuracy of psychology in real life. 3 wanna know how it actually help you in personal life and if it actually helps or not. 4 of course to help in my own mental health issues. This course is meant to prepare me for the real world with confident and self esteem. Also some tricks and strategies to live a lively and happy life. Atleast i hope so! Exams were good only if one is fully prepared otherwise it's super difficult to approach.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm a BAPCH student from IGNOU. My name is Ankita Sharma and i recently completed my first year in this course. Now I'm going in second year. I paid the academic fees only in first year is 5200rs,the charges for payment and other expenses like assignments and practical and all is not so calculated together. But approximately i have spent over 1000 rs only on assignments last year. The registration fees was 200/rs. Also i will be paying around 5200/ per year for the next two years only academic fees of course. I have no scholarship for myself as i belong to general category.
Campus Life :
I took the courses for distance learning so id didn't have any experience like these. I only went to university for assignment submissions and another student meeting, which was super fun and interactive. As we got to meet all the teachers and another students there. Also we got the chance to clear our queries and problem regarding anything related to course or university. They do had online portal for studies and another fun activities, that helped me a lot in studies. Most timr of my academic year i spent at my home. And all studies i did by myself and by going to public libraries. Which was super fun and cheerful.
Faculty :
The faculties are awesome. As they are so helpful and polite while taking queries from student. They always willing to help there students. they never misuse there are authority. They have always been a idol figure for us. They are so eay to approach as they don't make it a big issue to clear the thoughts about anything specific. They were 8 exams and the difficulty level was quite moderate. As the results haven't announced so i don't know how many failed or passed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
course curriculum is well designed and covers most of the important topics. It helps in building good basics but I feel more practical exposure and industry related subjects should be added. Exams are held every semester with internals and if you study regularly they are not too difficult to clear.

After 6th semester, the students are eligible for the placements. Decathlon, HCL and Bevzilla are the the mostly known companies visited our college. Average package is around 1.5 lakh and maximum is around 3.5 lakh. The percentage of students getting packages are around 75% I plan do fo B.ped and M.ped after this.

As my course, history plus political science is related to a day today.Life and the past Soviet are given different exposures to it.For example, are there trips to museums And last year there was a trip to the udaipur visiting the historical monument. Extra caricature is also provided as there are department fest in which the society my member or the department team has to provide an intresting overview of the course. There is good student teacher ratios. teachers are easily approachable.Exams are usually moderate in level.Teachers used to help us with the online material and online previous year questions etcetera. They also used to refer us different books for For enhancing our academic skill and knowledge. Less then 30 40 students are there in each class.

The curriculum of the course is fine maybe. Bit the way we are taught is quite outdated. We don't get things well and understand them. And the course is just suitable to get a degree in your hand not more than that.

Placement Experience :
Placements are really nice in my college specially in mathematics, economics ,statistics,commerce subjects. Courses like B.A don't have much but the education quality is great. Most of the people choose it to prepare for their competitive exams. Average package is 8 9 lakhs and the highest was like 61 lakhs in 2022. My course has Placements not that much but it has,offers upto 10 12 lakhs. My future plans is to go for government competitive exams.

The Average package in College is around 8lakhs. the highest package goes upto 36lakhs. placements are mostly offered to the students studying in either BCOM or in Economics. Around 60 percent of the students from this courses get the placement . many companies like Gshaw, DELL , McKenzie, DELLOITE,etc visits the campus for recruitment. aroun 50 companies comes every year.

i thing the relevance of course has declined now adays because of NEP. it was used to be with 5 lectures and now have to wind up within 3 letures combining with some not much usuefull courses like SEC, VAC and AEC. which are not just burden on our mental health, we given 7 exams instead of 4. but also divert our mind from our honours subject.
