Overall My Experience in This College is Good
Likes
- The faculty is really supportive and experienced. Most teachers explain concepts well and are approachable if you need help outside class.
- Campus life is amazing. There are lots of societies, cultural events, and workshops, so it's easy to stay involved and make good friends.
- Placement opportunities are quite good. Many reputed companies visit the campus, and the placement cell keeps students informed about internships and job openings.
Dislikes
- The competition can be stressful. Since almost everyone is academically strong, getting into top societies or securing the best internships is not always easy.
- Hostel seats are limited. Many students have to stay in nearby PGs, which can be expensive and sometimes inconvenient.
Remarks :
I also applied to few other DU colleges but I choose LSR because of its academic reputation, placements and campus enviroment. The admission process through CUET and CSAS counselling was smooth but the cutoffs were quite high. I got this college in one of the counselling rounds and did not wanted to miss the opportunity because its one of the best colleges in du.
Course Curriculum Overview :
course curriculum is well designed and covers most of the important topics. It helps in building good basics but I feel more practical exposure and industry related subjects should be added. Exams are held every semester with internals and if you study regularly they are not too difficult to clear.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee is around Rs 25000-30000 so overall its quite affordable compare to many private colleges. The fee has increased a little over the years but not by a huge amount. There are scholarships for merit and reserved category students and some students also get financial aid from du or govt schemes. Overall I did nt faced any major issue regarding fees.
Campus Life :
Campus life at LSR is really fun and active. There are many societies, sports and cultural events where students can take part and learn new things. The library has good collection of books and classrooms are decent with basic facilities. Overall the enviroment is friendly and you never get bored on campus.
Faculty :
The faculty is really good and most teachers are very helpfull if you ask doubts. The course structure is well planned with internals, assignments and semester exams. Exams are moderate so if you study regularly its not very difficult to score good marks. Overall the teacher student relation is quite friendly and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good. The area of improvement in the course is there are a very large amount of students in class and there is only one teacher to handle it. They should be divided into 2 or 3 parts means they should increase the faculty members. The timing of the exam is not satisfying sometimes the teachers come 10-15 minutes late.
