Despite the large class size, the learning experience remains effective due to the faculty’s qualifications and teaching approaches. Our professors are highly credentialed, holding advanced degrees and possessing significant expertise in their respective fields. Their strong academic and professional backgrounds ensure that the content they deliver is both comprehensive and up-to-date. They use a variety of teaching methods to keep the large class engaged, such as interactive lectures, multimedia presentations, and real-world examples. This diverse approach caters to different learning styles and keeps the material interesting. Even with the larger class size, professors strive to be approachable and supportive. They encourage questions during lectures and often incorporate discussion periods to foster a more interactive environment. Many professors also offer office hours.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is mainly same as that of what I studied in class 12th. The only difference is that it is depth.The curriculum is relevant to and is comprehensive as well. The curriculum itself does not prepare you for real world applications, you have to prepare extra and find internships and put in effort. The course could have been improved if it was simple ro understand even for those who are studying psychology for the first time. The exams are not that difficult and timings are also as they should be so there is no issue in that.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm pursuing Political Science Hons at Miranda House College and it was my first preference. I had interest in this subject from school times and I had always scores well in this subject. Since PSIR is one of the popular and trending optionals for upsc I had opted for this course and it's contemporary nature makes it relevant in day to life too. The exams are held semester wise on 6 months. There is need of improvement in the examination pattern. Instead of giving questions from pyqs only they should ask for some practical and new contemporary questions.

Placement Experience :
According to me it starts from the last year of graduation. There are variety of companies visited and based on skill they provide the package. Highest is 5 or 10 lakhs per annum and average is 2 lakh. 65% students getting placements. I want to do MA in psychology.

My course has multidisciplinary approach and has alignment with the current trend and approach, providing research opportunities and skill development. There are enough elective courses and discipline specialization providing the core knowledge of each paper

Placement Experience :
Students sit for internships in the end of second year. The highest and average package offered during SRCC placements 2024 stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 12.73 LPA, respectively. Further, the highest and average stipend offered during SRCC internships 2024 stood at INR 88,120 per month and INR 3,67,000 per month, respectively. More than 500 offers were made by popular recruiters during placements 2023. Major recruiters participated in the process which includes Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. 44 recruiters.
