Remarks :
The admission process was straightforward, with clear eligibility criteria and application procedures. I found the application form on the college website, with an application fee of ?500. The application dates were announced well in advance, allowing ample time for submission. I availed of the reservation benefits as a category student, which provided a relaxation in the cut-off percentage. The entrance exam was moderately difficult, with a frequency of once a year. I felt that the exam could be improved by adding more practical questions. Companies start coming in early of 7th semester i.e 4th year of the course. Companies visited like Western union, BNY Mellon,H.P, Amdocs,FIS, Vodafone, Capgemini, etc. In 2023-24, the highest package was of 22lpa of Western union, 10-8lpa by BNY Mellon,FIS, Western union. There are Mentors for T&P which helps students to prepare for their placements. Also encouraging them for Entrepreneurship.

In 7th semester Students are eligible for placements. So many companies vists the campus and recruits the students. Highest package of college is increasing every year this year it was of 54 lpa in Microsoft. Companies like Capgemini, Persistent,TCS, and many more vists the college. 70 to 80 % students get placed each year. And some of the students also start entrepreneurship one of the example is the startup cooliewala. I will opt for the placements, and them will apply for post graduation.

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type t
