This is not the college i opted for. I cant get any other better college because my cet score was not that great as per the colleges i opted for. My score in MHTCET was 82.92 percentile. Anyone who appeared for JEE-mains and MHTCET can opt for this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are few subjects in first year which are not related to the curriculum. The teachers in these course are professionals in their field. The internal exams are held after every 2 months. Two internal exams are held in each semester
Internships Opportunities :
From the starting of second year onwards you will be provided the training for placement as well as internship which will be given by college. Several seminars including several topics will be held in the college.
Placement Experience :
Smt. Indira Gandhi college of engineering is known to be the placement capital of Mumbai. As most of the students gets in campus placements through college. The maximum package offered by the companies is 14 lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Smt Indira Gandhi college of engineering offers courses such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CSE(Artificial intelligence and machine learning), CSE(Internet of things using blockchain technology), and Artificial Intelligence and data science. There are 120 seats for Computer engineering and 60 seat for rest of the courses
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the college is decent. There are several official and non-official clubs in the college such as esports, adventure, cultural etc There are several teams in the student council too such as media team which can help you to inprove your skills
Faculty :
College faculty is very helpful including teaching and non teaching staff. There are in total 5 courses provided by the university. The exam system is as follows one external and two internal exams for each subject per semester

Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type t

I am currently studying but this is told by my seniors The placements at my college are decent, with a moderate number of companies visiting the campus. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies visited: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture No. of offers made: 150+ Highest package: ?8 lakhs per annum (TCS) Average package: ?4-5 lakhs per annum Profiles offered: Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and IT Consultant Percentage of students getting placements: 60-70% However, I plan to pursue higher education, specifically an MBA, after completing my degree. I aim to gain more knowledge and skills to enhance my employability and career prospects. Additionally
